BREAKING NEWS ⚡️⚡️⚡️BLUE IS THE COLOUR 🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵🔵

ALL IRELAND CLUB CHAMPIONS RIVERDALE CLUB 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆⛳️💪

What a performance from the team from making it in last place qualifying in Bruff all them weeks ago to topping the strokeplay qualifying on Saturday and winning the National Title today so unbelievable for the lads battled so well all weekend in the poor weather conditions, never dropped the heads once and kept believing in themselfs 💪

The team lost Stephen Shoer due to illness but what a sub to have to come in for him in Joseph Danagher only recently back from a break away and by god did Jo produce this weekend along side Sean Crowe in their doubles, Sean played fantastic all the way through the qualifying to the finals and produced super pitch and putt all weekend, hes experiance really showed when needed 👏

Patsy Farrell & Gary O' Neill were like glue together and couldn't be separated all weekend with top quality play and making some huge putts when it mattered 2 huge wins in their singles in the final brought Riverdale edging to the winning line with Patsy winning on the 20th hole in his singles that point was huge towards the winning line it fed through the rest of the team and gave the boost that was needed after gary won on the last.👏

Brendan Shinnors & Eamonn Ryan were rock solid all weekend especially on Saturday with some fanatstic scores in a storm in their singles and again brought their form on into Sunday and when needed the most they delivered in the final when the team called on them to finish the job off and give Riverdale the National Club Title they have been after! 🏆

Thanks to Lucan for the Course & Hospitality all weekend very much appreciated and to the NEC for running the event, and to the Bruff Team for a very sporting Final thanks lads... 👏🏆⛳️.

The club would like to congradulate the lads we are so proud of ye, ye flew the Riverdale Flag as high as it could go in the storm all weekend and did not let us down, yer practice and committment was 2nd to none in the lead up and lead by example all the way Enjoy the celebrations lads 👏👏🏆🔵⛳️
