We travelled to Gorey this morning where we got spars for Liam and Alex.

Liam was in first and is in flying form putting together lovely combinations and counter right hands.

Alex was in next in a high action spar, With Alex working well behind his jab and landing some nice right hands and body work.

Big thanks to Gorey Boxing Club and Niall Murray for having us in today.

We were on the road again tonight where we travelled to Enniscorthy Boxing Academy and got spars for Liam, Daniel, Kyle and Alex.

Liam was in first and continued his rich form of sparring, Performing well all round.

Daniel was in next and was under continuous pressure but done well boxing on the back foot.

Kyle was in with a more experienced boy and done well trying to use the jab and make his opponent miss.

Last up was team captain Alex. Alex was again under constant pressure from all three different opponents. He stayed true to form using his jab and landing straight rights to both body and head.

A big thanks to Fergus Turner and everyone at EBA for having us for some brilliant sparring.

Sparring in the club this morning for Katie, Liam, Killian, Will, Tyler, Chris, Alex and Jonah.

Some cracking rounds on display here this morning with neither boxer willing to give an inch.

Katie and her opponent threw non stop punches for three rounds to get us started off with a brilliant spar by both girls.

Liam continued on from his previous spars getting behind his jab well and his movement caused his opponent all sorts of problems.

Will was having his first spar today and done well trying to work off his jab and trying to defend.

Killian has started well this year and continued that today with some quality work In a well matched spar.

Tyler was also having his first spar and came up against a good opponent who was very slick. Tyler will learn from this spar and will no doubt improve.

Chris was up against a familiar opponent today and the two lads traded with very nice combinations.

Alex put on a very good display getting behind his jab and landing straight rights to both the head and body. His opponent just kept coming in three cracking rounds.

Jonah was up last in again another sharp shooting encounter, Both boys firing non stop punches to top off a brilliant morning's sparring.

Thanks to Niall Murray and all the lads at Gorey Boxing Club for popping down this morning.

We made the small journey to our neighbours
St Mary's tonight where we got some quality rounds for Thomas, Liam and Eryk.

Thomas started slow against two strong opponents but as the rounds went on Thomas got behind his jab and started to counter with the right hand. 4 well matched rounds.

Liam was in next and showed some excellent defense against two tricky opponents. Liam also used his jab brilliantly and had an all round good spar.

Last up was Eryk.
Eryk started the first round very well but faded as the rounds went on. It has to be said Eryk was stepping in to make sure a boxer from Clonard got some rounds. It's a pity for us this boy is such a good soccer player because we have no doubt if he fully focused on boxing he would definitely add to his Leinster Senior title.

Thanks to Pat Cashin and all at St Mary's for having us.
