Summer is over. Kids are back to school and that means Evolve gym kids is back. Our unit is cleaned and ready and full of equipment for the kids to have another year of fun with us at Evolve. We look forward to welcoming all the kids both old and new and we do have limited spaces available throughout the week so if you think your child would like to try gymnastics in the heart of Newbridge then Evolve Gym Kids is definitely the place to come. All of my coaches and myself cannot wait to see you all again and I hope you all had an amazing Summer. Its great to be back

STRENGTH CAMP.💪💪💪💪💪💪💪
Hi everyone. With the popularity of our Saturday class I have decided to introduce the same style of class on Wednesdays at the gym. We will run these from July 29th to September the 30th to give you all a chance to see what all the fuss is about 😉😉 and if you are all happy with it we will leave it on the timetable as a permanent fixture. It is still our style of training just all weights and core. Hope younguys enjoy it.

Our Second Summer camp finishes up tomorrow and what an amzing time all the kids have had. Thanks to my amazing coaches and to you the parents for sending the kids into us. We have one last camp in August and we are looking forward to seeing some new faces at that one. We will have limited spaces available in September and remember if its Recreational gymnastics in the heart of Newbridge you are looking for, than look no further than

Reality is sinking in fast and I am starting to really feel how close I am to fulfilling a life long dream. I have 2 all time sporting moments in my life. The first was in 1997 achieving what I dreamed of at the time which was winning the u19 A schools cup in basketball. This is my highlight and in the sport I love the most. I stopped playing basketball after school really and went back to Gaa which I gave up as a 16 year old to pursue basketball. The second greatest achievement for me was lining out for kildare in croke park in 2004 in front of 30,000 people and never did I think that 22 years later I would be playing for Ireland in basketball and before I continue this post is actually not about me🤔🤔😉😉. What I want to pass on out of this last 4 months is to every masters athletes or anyone over 40 is to realise its never to late. I love sport. Its an outlet. Its a passion. It makes me feel alive. I got back in the pool. I looked after my body and made an effort and now I feel at 47 years of age I will experience a Sporting moment that will go top of the pile which is wearing an Ireland jersey. This journey has changed me for the better. I was in a rut with training and while staying fit and being around fitness all day I was missing a spark. That was ignited 18 months ago when I started helping out coaching basketball again. I realised what I had missed and how much I love playing ball🏀🏀. I really do wish I kept playing over the years but the last 18 month's has seen me get back and follow my dreams and all I want is for someone like me to read this and decide to get back at it. If you mind yourself and do it the right way you dont have to stop doing what you love. I will not stop after this. I am a baller again. I came home to basketball and I will continue to play as long as my body and mind allow.
Dream Big at any age. Its never to late.

What an amzing year it has been for Evolve Gym Kids. We are officially finished now for the Summer and we hope to see you all back here in September. For those of you attending the camps I hope you have the best time. Thank you all so much for bringing your children along to us here at Evolve. We love coaching gymnastics and I hope you all have an amazing Summer and see you all again in September.

8 years teaching recreational gymnastics to kids in Newbridge. We have just 2 weeks left on our current Term and so far have 2 Summer camps coming in July. Kids need to move more now than ever and our new premises which we moved into last year is the place to send them for gymnasticsin Newbridge.
