So after our EGM our 2026 committee was formed, which is as follows.
Chairman : Pat Molyneaux
Vice Chairman : Ethan O'Reilly
Secretary : Paul Mahony
Joint Treasures : Kevin Healy & Michael Murphy
Committee members : John Mc Carthy & Ronan Keane
Best of luck to the new Committee as they set out to reinvest the West Limerick Dart League.

Some key things to come out of the EGM were, alot of rules have be changed or renewed and the committee hope that it will make darts in West Limerick stronger.
Also at the EGM the format For the 2026 season will be 3 Doubles followed by 7 singles, this was introduced to give more players the opportunity to play on a night.

Key dates to remember is as follows, if any teams wants to register a new player or players to their squad from last year, you must present your team to the Secretary before 12 noon on Friday 2nd October.
Failure to do so will see any player changes to your team scratched on the nught of the registration.

Next key Date is Friday 9th Oct which is the West Limerick Dart League Registration night, all teams intending to play in this year's league must register their full teams on the night and pay in full.
A team consist of a minimum of 10 players per team.
Entry fee is €15 per player
Bar Fee is €100

Start Date for the league is Friday 23rd October so best of luck to everyone.

Hey Everyone,

We held the WLDL AGM on the 3rd of September. We were unable to elect a committee so therefore we have rescheduled the meeting to the 10th at 9PM in Jim Lanes.

For the future of the WLDL, it is vital that every team has a representative at this meeting to ensure not only that a committee is elected but to ensure motions are put in to benefit our league.

At the original AGM on the 3rd, we had no representative from:

Walshs
O'Connors
Cryle View
O'Connels
Carrigkerry
Goalpost C

We ask each team to have at least one player present as a representative at next week's meeting.

If a committee isn't elected next week, the league will be in a position where it likely wont go ahead. If anyone has any questions, please message Kevin Healy or John Mc Carthy.

Knocknagoshel Harvest Festival Dart Tournament this evening in the Western Inn Bar Fealsbridge (Ruby's) names in by 9:00pm and entry Fee €5.

The West Limerick Annual Presentation night was held last night in the Ploughman Bar Abbeyfeale, again thanks to everyone that attended and supported to make the night a success.

Congratulations to everyone that picked up silverware and prize money, im sure the celebrations went on long into the night.

A huge thank to our MC on the night Pat Molyneaux, again no better man for the job, thanks Padge.

A massive thanks to Steve, Shannen Smith for there hospitality, again as always a great support to the League to darts in Abbeyfeale, thank you for everything.

Last but not least a special mention must go to 2 committee members Kevin Healy & John Mc Carthy because with out there work behind the scenes the presentation night wouldn't have gone ahead, Kevin Healy especially all the effort over the last 5 or 6 weeks, the presentation was a great success so take a bow Kevin Healy and well done.

Again before we sign off remember out AGM will be called late August and as said before this will be the most important AGM in the history of the West Limerick Dart League.

Just for anyone asking the date for the presentation night is not set yet as there is still Cups, and Shields not been handed back yet, this is ghe last call for them to be returned please make contact with Kevin Healy. Date for the presentation night will be announced asap
