🖤💛 OUR OFFICIAL OPENING — A DAY WE’LL NEVER FORGET 💛🖤

What a day for Team Phoenix. 🥊

Although Phoenix has been our home since 2020, Saturday was a very special day as we officially opened our club and celebrated just how far we have come.

Back in 2020, we started with training in our back garden and on the pitches at Ballyboughal GAA. From there, we began the journey of turning our premises into the home we have today.

It hasn’t happened overnight. It has taken six years of hard work, fundraising, grants, determination and plenty of graft from so many people. But when we stood together on Saturday and looked around at what Phoenix has become, it made every bit of it worthwhile. 🖤💛

A massive thank you to everyone who came along to celebrate with us — our members, families, past and present boxers, friends, supporters and everyone who has played a part in our journey.

A huge thank you to all our coaches and volunteers who give their time week after week. Phoenix simply wouldn’t be what it is without you.

A special shout out to Eoin Delaney for capturing this moments and also coaching in the club .

Thanks so Alison for the ballon arch and Keogh’s for the crisps.

We also want to thank Fingal County Council for the support and funding that has helped us continue to improve and develop our home, along with everyone who has supported our fundraising and projects over the years.

And a very special shout-out to our Phoenix families. ❤️
You have stood behind the club, backed our boxers, helped at events, raised funds, travelled the country and put in countless hours behind the scenes. You are a massive part of what makes this club what it is.

This is Team Phoenix. This is our home. And this is only the beginning. 🥊🖤💛

🌍🖤💛 REUSE. REFILL. REPEAT. 💛🖤🌍

We’re delighted to be part of the Fingal County Council Reusable Cup Project as part of our new home at Team Phoenix.

We’ve received 100 reusable cups, complete with our very own Phoenix crest, and we’re really looking forward to getting them into use around the club. 🥊💛

It’s a small change, but one we hope will make a big difference. We want to encourage our members, families and visitors to get into the habit of bringing their cup, reusing it and cutting down on single-use cups.

There will be a €2 deposit, which will be returned when the cup is brought back — simple as that!

We’re especially proud to be doing this with our young boxers. We’re always trying to teach our kids that being part of a club is about more than boxing. It’s about looking after each other, looking after our community and looking after the environment around us. 🌱

A huge thank you to Fingal County Council for including Team Phoenix in the Reusable Cup Project and for helping us make this another positive step forward for our club.

We want to take a moment to say a massive thank you to Abington Design House for the continued support they have always shown to Team Phoenix.

Abington have been there for our club time and time again, supporting our boxers, our events and everything we are trying to build here at Phoenix. Your support has helped us keep moving forward and, more importantly, helped us give our young people the best opportunities we can.

It means so much to have local businesses who believe in what we are doing and continue to stand behind us.

We are incredibly grateful for everything you have done for Team Phoenix and for the trust you have placed in our club over the years.

🥊💛 A CHAMPION. A ROLE MODEL. OUR NIAMH FAY. 💛🥊

What a fantastic day at Team Phoenix as we officially revealed the mural celebrating one of our own — our champion, Niamh Fay. 🖤💛

Niamh’s journey has taken her from our club to competing on the international stage, representing Ireland and achieving so much along the way — European gold, Elite medals, international tournament medals and countless proud moments in the Phoenix corner. 🇮🇪🥊

But what makes us just as proud is what happens when the gloves come off.

Niamh is a full-time athlete in the HPU, but she still makes time to give back to the club that has been such a huge part of her journey. She trains alongside our younger boxers, helps coach our kids, cleans the club and gives her time and experience to the next generation coming through Team Phoenix.

That’s what this mural means to us. ❤️

It’s not just about the medals or the wins. It’s about where you come from, who helped you along the way, and remembering to give something back.

A huge thank you to Fingal County Council for the Anti-Graffiti Grant, which helped make this project possible, and to our fantastic local artist Amy Cooney for bringing the mural to life. 🎨
