Wednesday Recap ⏪

Earlier in the summer, our Coaching & Games staff alongside our volunteer coaches completed both our O’Mórdha Og & Setanta Programmes.

Over the course of the 6-weeks, over 600 kids attended our programmes, we’d like to extend a word of thanks to the parents & clubs for sending their players forward to attend the programmes.

Finally, we’d like to thank our fantastic sponsors in BM Lynch Construction & Civils (O’Mórdha Óg) & Hanlon Kitchens (Setanta) for their kind generosity in sponsoring the jerseys for all our kids who took part. A big thank you to our local manufacturers & for their high quality garments and the quick delivery of the jerseys.

Cúl Camps 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣6️⃣✅

After 7 weeks of camps, the 2026 Laois GAA Kellogg’s Cúl Camps come to and end.

On what was a sun drenched summer, we’d like to thank all those who attend our camps and your parents for sending you to our camps in your local clubs.

A massive thanks to our GPO staff who coordinated all 35 camps across the county and done a brilliant job! To all our 80 coaches and SNA’s who worked across the summer period at our camps, thank you for your enthusiasm and energy in creating an enjoyable environment for kids to attend the camps.

See you all again in 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣7️⃣ ✨

A huge thanks to Inter County Referee, Laois & The Heath clubman, Seamus Mulhare for taking time to come in and speak with our U14 Academy Football squad last week, giving them a greater insight to the playing rules ahead of their final academy day and ahead of the remainder of their club seasons.

Football Academy Day 5 Fixtures

U14 | Travel to face Louth & Kildare in their groups in Blessington - with knock out stage in either Blessington or Dunlavin, depending on placing in the group.

U15 | Blue Team face Meath in Kilclonfert, Offaly & White take on Roscommon in the Faithful Fields, Kilcormac.

U16s | Travel to University of Limerick to play Kerry South.

Football Academy Day 4 Round-up

Well done to our football squads on picking up great wins versus Westmeath, Carlow, Limerick, South Kerry & Mayo respectively.

As all our teams continues their preparations ahead of their final weekend of action to complete their seasons, we’d like to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of our players throughout the summer training programmes.

A huge thank you to our full time S&C staff of Paddy Quinlan, Brian Ging & Jason Woods for their time and support over the 6-8 weeks in running our summer programmes with each of our squads.

2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣6️⃣ Laois GAA Kellogg’s Cúl Camp Inclusion Camp ✅

What a brilliant success our inclusion camp was again this year!

Year 3 of running our county based inclusion camp and 2 brilliant days of camp for kids who joined us!

Firstly, a huge thank you to for hosting the camp, such a brilliant venue!
To our GPO staff, our SNA’s and all our helpers - we thank you for allowing the camp to be ran so smoothly!

To our coordinators Catriona Slattery (LSP) & Laura White (The Rock GAA) for all your support & organisation.

Looking forward to seeing all the kids & more again in 2027!
