Our Centre will close on Thursday the 3rd of September 2026 due to maintenance testing with Laois County Council.

Laois Leisure Portlaoise will operate as normal on 3rd of September!

Did you know that we offer Sensory Friendly Quiet Swim Sessions every Saturday 4:30pm-5:30pm!🙂

Here at Laois Leisure Portarlington we offer our sensory friendly quiet swim sessions every Saturday from 4:30pm-5:30pm giving each child, adult and family with additional needs the opportunity to come relax and enjoy the pool facilities without the addition of loud noises and harsh lighting.🙂

We also offer a carers rate, to avail of this rate you must provide a carers card, asiam card, L***A Card or Similar.

if your child is between 3-5 years old they will be fall into our Little Swimmers Level that starts your child's swim journey building confidence and fun in the water.🏊

if your child is 5 years and older from beginner to basic swim knowledge to being in lessons elsewhere they will need to avail of a Free 10 Minute Swim Assessment during any of public swim times to pinpoint the level your child will fall into in our swim academy criteria.

Looking to sign your child/children up for swimming lessons and want to beat the queue when public bookings open on Monday 24th of August.🧐

If your child is 5 and over and has not been in our swim academy before a free swim assessment must be completed during any public swim time.🏊

Send your name and contact number to our email [email protected] with the subject title "Sign Me Up" and you will be contacted first thing on Monday the 24th of August.

All submissions must be in by Sunday 23rd of August at 6pm📆
