We are so incredibly delighted for the support from Portarlington Credit Union for our tent! It's so amazing that going forward we will have our base at events. Thank you.

📸 We were delighted to welcome members of Portarlington Community Games to Portarlington Credit Union as they called in to collect a cheque for their brand-new Community Games tent! ⛺💙Pictured with PCU Chairman, Shane Murray and P&D member, Aisling Donoher.

At Portarlington Credit Union, we're proud to support initiatives that make a real difference in our community. This new tent will provide a dedicated base for athletes, volunteers and supporters during Community Games events for many years to come.

We know how much hard work goes into organising these events, and we're delighted to play a small part in helping create lasting memories for the young people of our community.

We wish everyone involved in Portarlington Community Games the very best for the seasons ahead and look forward to seeing the new tent in action! 💙👏

A huge well done to all of our Portarlington swimmers who proudly represented Team Laois at the Community Games National Finals this weekend.

Every one of our swimmers performed brilliantly, and we are so proud of their hard work, dedication and sportsmanship.

A special congratulations to Tymon and Lena, who both qualified for their respective finals – a fantastic achievement!

Well done also to our U13 Girls Freestyle Relay Team of Éabha, Georgie, Roslyn and Willow, who finished an excellent 9th out of 16 teams in the country. What a performance!

A very well-deserved congratulations also goes to our neighbours in Community Games, who brought home two silver medals thanks to the fantastic performances of Síofra and Eva Jay, and to Community Games, where Yiming claimed a brilliant silver medal. An outstanding achievement for all three swimmers and a great reflection of the talent we have across County Laois.

A sincere thank you to the Laois Community Games Swim Committee for all of the hard work that goes on behind the scenes to make opportunities like this possible. We also extend our thanks to Community Games and Ireland for organising such a well-run and enjoyable gala.

Congratulations again to every swimmer who represented Team Laois. You all did your clubs, communities and county proud!

This week is packed with results for our athletes. Well done to all who travelled to St Abban's AC last week and competed in Laois Community Games athletics finals.

Well done to all parents for travelling and the massive amount of work that team managers do in the background. Without these volunteers nothing would happen in Cairn Community Games , thank you we appreciate all you do.

Next stop regionals and nationals.
