𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗹𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗖 🏸

Blake Chambers was in flying form at the weekend as he and partner Zoe Kearon won the Ulster Open Grade C Mixed Doubles! 🥇👏

Blake also teamed up with Greenbanks’ Dermot Hoy in the men’s doubles. After a great run and a tight three sets, the pair came up just short in the final, bringing home a well-earned silver medal. 🥈

Fantastic performances all weekend, Blake — well done to you and your partners! 👏👏

𝗔𝗻 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝘅𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗹𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻 🥈 🥉 🏸

In the Mixed Doubles, Emily and partner Yuwen put in a fantastic performance coming home with bronze medals after pushing the eventual winners to three sets in a closely fought semi-final.

In the Girls’ Doubles, it was another impressive run for Emily and partner Madhu. After a very close final, the girls narrowly missed out, losing 21–19, 21–19 to sisters Fidha and Faristha. But again, the girls can be very proud of their silver medals on this occasion.

👏 Well done, Emily! And a huge well done to all our club members who travelled to Lisburn over the weekend and competed so well. We’re very proud of everyone 🏸👏

Badminton Ireland, in partnership with Leinster Badminton, Ulster Badminton, Munster Badminton and Connacht Badminton, is delighted to announce the launch of - the 'ALL ISLAND Primary Schools Badminton Competition'.

The exciting new-look to the primary school competition will bring primary schools from all 32 counties together, creating more opportunities than ever for young pupils to experience competitive badminton and represent their schools.

EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS LAST 16

Massive win for Corey Chambers and Conor Blakeman 🇮🇪on day three of the European Junior Championships.

The young Irish pair who are still under 17 have booked their place in the last 16 of the event after beating Luca Perfido and Maximilian Zeimes 🇱🇺 20-22 21-6 21-13.

In the last 16 match tomorrow Corey and Conor will now face number four seeds Gokay Go and Mert Seven 🇹🇷 👏💪☘️

Congrats to Corey Chambers & partner Amira Pender who took silver at the Victor U19 Irish Open. 🥈

A great start to the season for Corey, picking up from the success on the U17 & U19 Irish circuit last season.

Conor Blakeman & partner Carol Joy claimed a 🥉in the Mixed Doubles losing out In a tight All Ireland Semi final against Corey & Amira.
