🏊‍♀️ Fuelled, Focused and Ready to Make Waves! 🌊
The happy, smiling faces say it all! Swimming is not only great for building strength, fitness and confidence—it also supports positive mental health, friendships and teamwork. Upon their return to the pool last weekend, members of Coman’s Swimming Club took part in an informative talk led by Head Coach Deirdre, and assisted by coaches Konrad, Elaine, Ju Won, Sharon and Kayo. Key points included the the importance of setting goals and the fundamental importance of diet, sleep and nutrition in supporting performance, recovery and overall wellbeing. This was a hugely motivational start to the new swimming season, helping our swimmers develop positive habits and work towards their goals both in and out of the pool! Following the pool session on the day, swimmers and parents were delighted to attend our Breakfast Morning. What a great opportunity to meet coaches and fellow swimmers in the club, having fun and developing new friendships along the way! Sincere thanks to the Quad for facilitating our hugely succesful Breakfast Morning and thanks to all committee members and parents/guardians who work away tirelessly in the background to make it all happen! 💪🥗💤
