Roscommon Cycling Club brings cycling to all in the Roscommon area. Club runs for a variety of abilities over many routes around the county and beyond.
Roscommon Cycling Club is not a competitive club, but one that aims to put the fun into the Sunday club run. It's objective is to preserve the spirit of the bike as means for adventure and not just for competition. On the 4th August, 2022 our Club and Community was rocked by the devastating news that our Club Member and friend Dessie Byrne and his sister Muriel had passed away following a tragic accident whilst on holiday in Ballybunion.
On Sunday, 6th August, 2023 a number of events are being organised in the Community to raise funds for the Dessie Byrne Memorial Fund with donations also being made to Sub Aqua and Ballybunion Search and Rescue.
Lecarrow Lazers are inviting all Cyclists and Cycling Clubs to make St. Johns Community Centre, Lecarrow your food stop on your Sunday cycle. Please drop into St. Johns Community Centre between 9am and 12 midday for tea and cakes and donate towards this worthy cause. All support and donations are much appreciated.
