Groups 2&3 will start at 7pm sharp followed by group 1.

Richael rides the TT at 3.18pm on Friday, and also the road race at 11.05am on Sunday.

A huge achievement and hopefully things go to plan on the day

Congratulations to Albert, Paul and Daniel picking up their silverware at last week’s Sligo league presentation.

Albert was the overall winner of the league from group 5 which is a difficult task facing into challenging time gaps in some of the road races. A just reward for his preparation and performance

Paul was 2nd overall in group 5 with Daniel finishing 3rd

Thanks to all for making the league happen

Round 8 intensity on full display — Sligo Cycling Team riders pushing the limits and setting the pace in the local league showdown in which we needed Albert to finish the race in order to win the overall league. Unfortunately there was a crash in the final kilometre involving group 2 + 3 riders and we wish all a speedy recovery 🚴‍♀️🔥

Afterwards it was mission accomplished for Albert and the club — winner of the Sligo Cycling League! A well-deserved victory and testament to his relentless dedication and hard work on the road. Well done also to Eolan finishing 2nd in group 1 and the Paul and Daniel rounding out the top three places in group 5. Every club member played their part at times be it riding down gaps or assisting lead outs, we look forward to a celebration night and the league presentation soon🏆🚴‍♂️

Finally, big thanks to the Sligo committee and to all the volunteers and marshals who give up their time to make the league happen. We are delighted to have it on our doorstep.

🏆 Richael Timothy crowned National TT Champion! 🇮🇪

Against all odds, Richael powered to victory in Kilbeggen, Co. Meath on Thursday, June 26th — even overcoming a mid-race wheel change! A true display of grit, resilience, and champion spirit. 🚴‍♀️💪
