Owenmore Gaels GAA provides football for adults and children of all levels based in Collooney, Ballisodare, Ballinacarrow and surrounds
The club's origins date back to the founding unit of the Association within the county, when the Collooney Fontenoys club was formed in January 1885, and that team participated in the county's first organised GAA games against the Sligo town club in November 1885, and competed in the inaugural County Championship of 1888. Our next club monthly meeting will take place this coming Wednesday, the 2nd of September, at 9pm in the clubhouse. All members are invited and encouraged to attend.

๐บ๐ฆ๐ช Boys beat senior men in Friday evening battle!
Our senior menโs group invited our Under 11 and U-13 boys in for a training session on Friday evening and a very enjoyable hour was had by all!
A big thanks to McKim's Foodstore and Value Centre Cash & Carry for sponsoring the ice-cream for the boys afterwards!
Well done to the senior menโs group for this initiative - the session left a huge impression on all those present! Liam and Mark from our mens management group were excellent with the lads. The boys will be returning the favour by supporting on the sidelines over the coming weeks ๐๐ช๐บ๐ฆ๐

๐๐บ๐ฆ Our Under 11 boys finished off their August schedule with a blitz against Drumcliffe Rosses Point GAA & LGFA yesterday evening at Connolly Park. Thanks to DRP for travelling up - some very competitive and sporting games were on display ๐
Well done to this committed bunch of lads who are making great progress this year. Enjoy the week off and we will return strong for September ๐บ๐ฆ๐
