🎾🎾 What a fantastic week of tennis at Sligo Racquet Club! 🎾🎾
The annual Sligo Tennis Club Championships brought together close to 100 players for seven days of competitive, enjoyable and, at times, nail-biting tennis!
Running from 13th–19th September, the Championships catered for players across the club, with sections ranging from Advanced right through to Novice and Beginner. There were plenty of great rallies, close matches and some very competitive encounters along the way.
🏆 Finals Day was a fitting finale to the week, with the Main Event draws producing some excellent tennis, while the Consolation rounds ensured players had further opportunities to compete and enjoy their tennis right through to the final day.
It was fantastic to see newer players competing alongside more experienced members, and despite the wet weather, the courts were full of energy throughout the week. 🎾🌧️
A huge congratulations to all of our players who took part and gave it their all on court. 👏
