A massive thank you to everyone who supported our Open Week!

We were delighted to see so many members out on the course, and a special welcome and thanks to all our visitors from neighboring clubs and further afield who joined us throughout the week.

Captain’s Day is as much about family and friendship as it is about the golf itself.

Peter was delighted to welcome members of the Hanley Clan—who travelled from Dunshaughlin, Blackrock, and Roscommon—to join in the celebrations. We were equally thrilled to have local family members join us from just across the way.

A sincere thank you to everyone who travelled, played, and helped make the day so special.

What a fantastic Captain’s Prize weekend at the club! ⛳️📸

A massive thank you and congratulations to our Captain, Peter Hanley for hosting such a brilliant weekend and for all the hard work and dedication he has put into the club throughout his captaincy.

We had a fantastic turnout on the course! A huge thank you to everyone who played, visited, and joined in the celebrations. Hope you all enjoyed the golf, as well as the delicious food and refreshments afterwards.

A special word of thanks to Margaret Kelly, Diane Mullooly, Margaret Walsh, Carmel Hanley, and Peter’s wife Maeve for preparing such a beautiful spread for everyone. 👏

The course was in pristine condition all weekend—huge credit and thanks to Brendan, John, and Pádraig for their hard work behind the scenes.
Congratulations to all our prize winners! A special shoutout to our overall winner Niall for some incredible scoring, and thank you to everyone who made the presentation night such a great event with a fantastic crowd in attendance. 🥂

And last but not least, a huge well done to Philip Duignan on an incredible achievement—hitting a Hole in One on the 12th on Saturday evening, having hit another one in Enniscrone just the day before! 🏌️‍♂️🔥

🏆 The Bernie Taylor Memorial Shield 🏆

A special afternoon at the club as we came together to honour and remember our wonderful late member, Bernie Taylor.

Bernie was a true lover of the game, a deeply valued member of our club, and someone who gave so much of her time to help out over the years. The weekend’s competition was a truly fitting tribute to her memory.

Congratulations to our Ladies and Gents winners on taking home these incredible honours! A heartfelt thank you to Paul and the Taylor family for presenting these beautiful shields and for joining us for the presentation. Your presence and support made the occasion truly memorable.

Play in Pink Weekend – Thank You! 🩷⛳

A massive thank you to everyone who supported and took part in our Play in Pink Open 18-Hole Competition at Strokestown Golf Club! It was fantastic to see the course filled with pink and everyone getting into the spirit to support the National Breast Cancer Research Institute.
