Jamie of Mayo Softball donning the latest in safety fashions. (We even had to use the first aid kit today. That plaster saved his life!)

Thank you to all who have supported us through the pub quiz and raffle. Thanks to the paying players of our club. Thanks to Guirys Bar for being our jersey sponsor for the second year in a row. Thanks to those behind the scense that don't wanna be mentioned (you know who you are). Thanks to Softball Connacht Munster for EVERYTHING they do. And thanks to Mayo Sports Partnership for awarding us a grant. Without all of this, we wouldn't be able to progress out club. We have been able to purchase a first aid kit, better gloves, better bases, and MORE!

So proud of the Madres!!! I wanted to beat the Galway Hookers…aaaaand we beat the Galway Hookers! This means we are the 2nd place finishers in the Wild Atlantic League. That puts us in the SINCC Challenge Cup! The Challenge Cup is a new level added to SINCC this year, which is great! And another level may be added in the future! This will take place in Dublin on 19th September. So excited!!!

Thank you to Sligo for coming down to Mayo for a friendly game between the Sligo Spiders and Mayo Madres. The final and very official score was 20-ish to single digits with Mayo coming away with the win...as the Green and Red do now. 🤭
