Hard luck to our Senior team who lost out to McHale Rovers this evening in Round 3 of the Intermediate Championship.
The girls battled hard and gave it everything, but unfortunately it wasn’t to be on the night. ❤️🖤
Congratulations to McHale Rovers on the win and we wish them the very best of luck in the Cup Semi-Final. 👏🍀
Our Championship journey continues, with the girls now facing a relegation game next weekend. Another big performance will be needed, and we know the girls will give it everything to retain our Intermediate status. 💪🏐

A lovely game this evening for our U13 B team, with some great performances from both sides. Well done to the girls from Ballyhaunis GAA & LGFA Club.
Our girls showed great determination with a real fightback towards the end, but Ballyhaunis held on for the win.

Before the game, a minute’s silence was observed in memory of Eoin Doyle, and his family, who continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. Our captain Ceola presented flowers and sweets to the Ballyhaunis captain.

Swinford Killasser LGFA are delighted to launch our 16-week Player Development Programme, designed to help our young players become fitter, stronger and more athletic, while preparing them for the demands of the modern LGFA game. 💪🏐
The programme will be led by Michelle Filan, our Club Coaching Officer, who brings extensive experience and knowledge of the LGFA game alongside her background as a coach and private gym owner.
📅 Information Evening: Friday 18th September
⏰ 8.00pm
📍 Amenity
We strongly encourage all U14, U16 & Minor players and their parents to attend. Michelle will explain how the 16-week programme will work and answer any questions on the night.
💶 There will be a minimal cost to players, with Swinford Killasser LGFA subsidising the remainder of the programme as part of our commitment to developing our young players.
☕ Light refreshments will be provided.

We extend our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Eoin Doyle, Gurrane, Ballyhaunis, who is being laid to rest today.
Our heartfelt condolences go to Eoin’s parents, Declan and Elaine, his twin sister Saoirse, his brother Conor, his grandparents, and all his extended family, relatives and friends at this incredibly difficult time.
We also extend our sympathies to everyone within the Ballyhaunis GAA & LGFA Club community. Our thoughts are with you all as you mourn this heartbreaking loss.

The death has occurred of Eoin Doyle, Gurrane, Ballyhaunis- tragically following an accident on 3rd September 2026.
Deeply regretted by his heartbroken parents Declan & Elaine (née Corcoran) and his twin sister Saoirse, step-brother Conor, grandparents Pat & Marguerite Doyle and Ger & Mary Corcoran, uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives & friends RIP.
Reposing at Donnellan's Funeral Home, Clare St, Ballyhaunis on Monday evening from 5pm to 7pm.
Funeral will arrive to St. Patrick's Church, Cloonfad on Tuesday for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in Ballyhaunis Cemetery.

Our U13A girls travelled to Belmullet on Friday evening and battled through very strong winds in a tough Division 2 encounter. The girls showed great determination against a strong Belmullet side and kept fighting right to the end, coming away with a brilliant one-point win! 💪❤️🖤
Our U13B girls were also in action today, taking on Breaffy C in Round 2 of the Division 5 League. It was another closely fought contest, with the sides finishing level at 2-9 a piece.👏
A huge well done to both teams on two great performances. Plenty of determination, teamwork and great football on display, keep up the brilliant work! ❤️🖤

Hard luck to our Minor girls who came up short against a very strong Breaffy team in the Division 2 Cup Semi-Final this evening. The girls gave it everything and can be very proud of their efforts throughout the game. 👏🏐❤️🖤
