Broadmeadow Linear parkrun #47

Another brilliant Saturday morning at Broadmeadow Linear parkrun, with plenty to celebrate as we get ready for a very special occasion next week! 🎈

A huge congratulations to Mark Guildea, who reached his 25th volunteering milestone today! 🙌 Thank you, Mark, for all your time and support in helping make BLp happen.

There were plenty of PBs to celebrate too, with Terry Hopper, Brian Tucker, Evan Phillips, Swagata Das and Soumyadipta Kundu all setting new personal bests. Fantastic running! 💪🔥

Out first three females this morning were Rachel Eustace, Ingrid O’Dowd and Florence Bastow. Whilst our first three males over the line were Stephen Morgan (his first parkrun!) Jim McCafferty and James Bonner 👏👏👏 James also had a couple of fantastic parkrun milestones this morning, completing his 25th parkrun with a brand new PB!

Emily Brady also joined us for her very first parkrun, along with first-time visitors to Broadmeadow Linear: Bernard Kearney, Kieran Donnelly and Paul Burke. We hope you enjoyed your morning with us! 👋

And finally… ONE WEEK TO GO! 🎂🎉

Next week is our 1st Birthday at Broadmeadow Linear parkrun! 🥳💜 We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone who has been part of our journey over the past year. Make sure you join us for what promises to be a very special morning!
