Basketball Ireland Masters have three 'Hall of Fame' inductees travelling to Greece for the FIBA Masters Open. They aren't just part of basketball history, they are still making it.

Representing Ireland with our F40s is Michelle Fahy, F50s is Karen Hennessey and M60s is Jerome Westbrooks. These players prove that dedication and love for the game never fade. They have helped shape Irish basketball, inspired generations of players, and continue to compete at the highest level in Masters Basketball.

Their journey reminds us that basketball isn't just a game you play, it's a sense of belonging, a community and a lifelong passion.

We're delighted to announce that TaxAssist Accountants have emerged as the winners of the Basketball Ireland Masters Community Sponsorship Initiative.

Karen Collins of our F50s team secured sponsorship from TaxAssist, earning their entry into the free draw. TaxAssist were chosen as the lucky winners from the many local businesses supporting our athletes on their journey to Greece.

What did they win? The TaxAssist logo will now feature on the back of the official playing kit of all eight Irish Masters international teams.

This initiative was created to recognise and thank the local businesses that continue to support community sport and help make international representation possible for self-funded athletes.

Last up, meet our Masters M40 Men's Team. A talented group of vibrant and experienced players, the M40s bring a wealth of basketball knowledge to the Ireland Masters programme. With numerous national titles, cup successes and representative honours between them all. These players know exactly what it takes to compete at a high level.

Led by Coach Kieran Leahy, alongside Manager Pat Galvin and AT Ben Sheridan, the squad has been working hard in preparation for Greece.

Introducing our Masters F40 Women's Team. A squad that is no stranger to success and a podium finish. Many of the players return for another campaign.

Blending experienced Masters players with exciting new additions, including a recent Hall of Fame inductee, this talented group brings a wealth of experience, leadership and competitive spirit to the court.

Under the guidance of Coach Mark Scannell, the F40s can't wait to meet their opposition in Greece.

Introducing our Masters M45 Men's Team. A newly formed squad and the first-ever Irish team to compete in the Men's 45 division at Masters level.

While the team itself may be new, the players are anything but newcomers to the game. With a wealth of experience between them, many have represented their country and competed at the highest levels throughout their basketball careers.

Led by Coach Darren O'Neill, alongside Manager Aoibhín O'Neill and AT Dylan O'Keefe, this talented group is excited to make its mark on the international stage.

Led by Coach Sergio Irles Fernandez, alongside Manager Tara Dunphy and Athletic Therapist Lizzy Rogers, the squad are back and are working hard in preparation for the FIBA Masters Open. Focused, determined and more than ready for the challenge ahead.
