St. Mary's College RFC St Mary's College Rugby Football Club is a rugby club that has been in existence since September 1900 Welcome to the St. Mary's College RFC page.

Check out this page for all our latest club news. We field 6 Men adult teams (including a Vets team), and an U20 team. New players are always welcome to the club. 🏉 Junior Rugby Tour to Toulouse 🇫🇷

Our Junior Rugby section kicked off the 2026/27 season in style with a tour to Toulouse. Twenty-two players from the J1s to the J5s, along with a selection of alakadoos, made the trip to France for an unforgettable few days.

The tour got off to a flying start with a visit to Montauban for the home debut of Danny Brennan against Grenoble — a match Montauban edged 20–17. A great occasion and a brilliant way to begin the trip.

Next up was a pilgrimage to Brennan’s Snug, with hospitality courtesy of Mary’s legend, Trevor Brennan. A must-visit whenever you’re in Toulouse!

The visit also provided the perfect opportunity for Mick Flats and Michael Fanagan to present Trevor with his St. Mary’s College RFC AIL cap and the 125th Anniversary Commemorative Crest — a fitting recognition of a true club legend.

A huge thank you to the iconic Trevor Brennan for his hospitality, and to Mick Flats, Director of Junior Rugby, who bravely undertook yet another Junior Rugby tour!

And a special hat tip to Gareth Logan and Mossy Davin for the logistics and all the behind-the-scenes organising that helped make the trip happen.

A fantastic few days, great memories made, and another chapter in the Junior Rugby tour tradition. 🇮🇪🏉🇫🇷

RUGBY THAT BRINGS US TOGETHER

Continuing the tradition that began last season, the gate from last Saturday’s D6W Derby is being shared equally between the St. Mary's Stars ⭐️ and the Terenure Tigers 🐯 — two fantastic inclusion teams at the heart of both our clubs.

A huge thank you to our neighbours at Terenure College RFC for sending €1,831 to the St. Mary’s Stars. 👏💙

This is a brilliant tradition and one that perfectly captures what the D6W Derby is all about — rivalry on the pitch, community off it, and inclusion for everyone.

Here’s to many more D6W Derbies — and plenty more Stars and Tigers games in Templeville Road and Lakelands Park! ⭐️🐯

The first of the 2026/2027 season takes place this Saturday, 5th September when we meet our noisy neighbours and closes rivals in Lakelands.

Our J2s kick off at 12:30pm and our First XV take on Terenure College RFC in the Leinster Senior Cup at 3pm.

Two games. One rivalry. One massive day for Mary’s. 💙

Get down to Lakelands, wear your blue and white, get behind the lads and make some noise! 📣

The Annual St. Mary's College RFC Golf Outing, sponsored by Fanagans Funeral Homes, takes place on Friday, 4th September in the Grange Golf Club.

⛳️Green Fees
- €450 for a morning slot (9am to 1pm)
- ⁠€550 for a afternoon slot (1pm to 4:30pm)

A bap/sandwich will be provided before the golf, with dinner served in the golf club after your round.

The prize giving will be in the clubhouse, Templeville Road at 9pm.

There are only a few spots remaining, so please confirm your tee time as soon as possible.
