Munster Youths Cup

Peake Villa Fc 4
Cashel Town Fc 1

Our Youths had a good win Saturday afternoon in the Munster Youths Cup.

Villa took the lead in the 5th minute when Luke Doyle found Charlie Lawlor in space and he scored to the bottom corner to make it 1-0.

Lawlor assisted the second goal in the 11th minute when playing in Jason Patterson who made it 2-0.

After a quick start the game settled down and bar a few half chances for both sides the sides went in at the break with Villa ahead.

Cashel were thrown a life line early in the second half when they were awarded a penalty in the 50th minute.

Milo Bourke scored the penalty to make it 2-1.

Jason Patterson extended Villa's lead when he scored a bullet header from a Luke Doyle corner to make it 3-1 in the 64th minute.

Patterson didnt have to wait long to secure his hatrick scoring in the 68th minute with a great free kick from the edge of the box capping a fine display and securing the cup tie for Villa that sends them into the 3rd round.
A good all round game from villa, solid at the back with a few stand out performances further up the field from Patterson and man of the match Luke Doyle.

Full Time 4-1
