✨️Junior B Footballers through to the South Final✨️

A brilliant performance from our Junior B team saw them overcome Ardfinnan 4-09 to 1-11 in the South Semi-Final.

✨️One Week To Go✨️

We’re delighted to welcome back our Family Fun Day this Sunday, 6th September, from 10am–2pm!

There really is something for everyone as we come together to celebrate our One Club approach.

For the first time, our U8 Hurling and LGFA blitzes will take place together, showcasing the strength of our One Club approach and bringing our young players together for a fantastic morning of sport and fun! Our Nursey boys & girls will also take to the field on the day!

And while the blitzes are taking place, our U10s and up can get involved in a range of competitions: Hit the Target, Long Puck & Crossbar Challenge.

Come along, get involved and help us make this year’s Family Fun Day a brilliant celebration of our our Club!

And of course… don’t forget to leave out your Child of Prague Statue for the weekend!!

✨️Narrow Defeat But Brave Performance✨️

A narrow defeat to Cahir in our final U14 LGFA Division 5 gold final but a fantastic performance from our young team.

✨️u12 A & C2 South Hurling Finals✨️

Our U12A team now march on to the county semi-final, following their brilliant South Final victory, and will be looking forward to the next challenge.

For our C team, it’s the end of the road after a great campaign, but they can hold their heads high after fighting right until the final whistle in their C2 Final. There’s plenty for both teams, their players and management to be proud of — a great effort from everyone involved throughout the campaign.

✨️Happy Retirement Bridget✨️

On behalf of Killenaule GAA, tonight we presented Bridget with a small token of our gratitude for her long-standing commitment to selling Lotto tickets for the club in Hassett’s Shop.

Last week, Bridget closed the door to Hassett’s, bringing an end to the era of chatting with Bridget in the shop — the friendly smile, the over-generous handful of sweets, and, of course, the extra-high Hassetts Special 99.

All at Killenaule GAA are hugely grateful to Bridget for the many years of selling Lotto tickets and supporting the club.

We wish Bridget the very best of luck, happiness and plenty of relaxation in her retirement.
