As the nights begin to close in, here’s a selection of photos taken around Fethard Town Park , capturing some of the colour, calm and changing light of the season. Over the next few months, the park will also welcome large crowds as people gather to enjoy the many events and activities taking place, bringing plenty of life and atmosphere to this wonderful local space.

Important Notice – Fethard Town Park

From 1st September, the car park barrier at Fethard Town Park will be locked at the following times:

🕙 Monday to Friday: 10 PM
🕘 Weekends: 9 PM

Please make sure to remove your vehicle before the barrier is locked.

Milestone Morning at Fethard Town Park!
This Saturday, 7th August, we celebrate Fethard Town parkrun #200, a fantastic milestone for our wonderful parkrun community!
Whether you're a regular runner, a first-timer, a walker, a volunteer, or simply want to cheer everyone on, we'd love to see you there. Every Saturday, our community comes together to support, encourage, and enjoy the outdoors, and event number 200 is one worth celebrating.

This month's newsletter highlights the strength of our community and the people who make Fethard Town Park special. We reflect on the recent Slievenamon wildfire, recognising its impact on our landscape and wildlife while thanking the firefighters, emergency services, volunteers, and everyone who worked tirelessly to protect our countryside. We're delighted to welcome Luke Keating to the Fethard Town Park team as a permanent staff member and look forward to his continued contribution. We also share a Moment in Time featuring Joe Looby and his son Cian during their recent visit to the park. Thank you to everyone who continues to support and be part of our growing community.
