🥈 Silver for Mark Reidy! 🇮🇪

A fantastic performance from Tralee Harriers athlete Mark Reidy at the National Masters Outdoor Championships 2026 in Morton Stadium.

Mark ran an excellent 55.12 to take silver in the M45 400m.

A brilliant performance and a well-deserved national masters medal! 👏🥈

A fantastic weekend for Tralee Harriers athlete Alan O’Connor at the National Masters Outdoor Championships 2026 in Morton Stadium, where he claimed three gold medals in the O35 category! 👏

🥇 Shot Put 12.80m
🥇 56lb Weight for Distance 6.42m
🥇 Discus 38.31m

The shot put was particularly special, with Alan throwing a season’s best of 12.80m, his longest throw in an incredible 13 years! 💪

Three events, three national titles and a fantastic achievement for Alan at the National Masters Outdoor Championships.

National Senior Outdoor Championships 2026

Congratulations to Clare Hopkins and Alan O'Connor on their excellent performances representing Tralee Harriers AC at the National Senior Outdoor Championships 2026.

👏 Clare Hopkins
Clare produced a fantastic performance in the 400m, running a new personal best of 70.80 seconds. Having only set a PB six days earlier at the AAI Games, Clare took a further two seconds off her time to continue her impressive progress. A brilliant achievement in her first season in the sport, and an exciting indication of what's to come.

👏 Alan O'Connor
Alan had a strong championships in the field events, finishing:
🏅 4th in the 56lb Weight for Distance with a throw of 6.95m
🥏 9th in the Discus with a throw of 40.23m

Well done to both Clare and Alan on their performances at the highest level of national competition.

National Senior Outdoor Championships 2026

Congratulations to Solange Diogo on her performance at the National Senior Outdoor Championships, finishing 6th in the Senior Women's Triple Jump representing Tralee Harriers AC.

👏 Result: 6th Place
📏 Best Jump: 11.12m

Solange showed great consistency throughout the competition, producing a strong series of jumps and finishing with her best effort in the final round.

🇮🇪🥇 Congratulations to Tralee Harriers athlete Ethan Lacey on a fantastic week representing FISEC Team Ireland at the FISEC Games in Budapest.

Competing in the 100m, 200m, 4x100m Relay and Mixed Medley Relay, Ethan reached the semi-finals of both sprint events, qualified for the 200m final, helped Ireland finish 4th in the 4x100m Relay, and placed an excellent 5th in the 200m final against a strong international field.

Ethan finished the championships in style, running the 200m leg of the Mixed Medley Relay alongside Jack Gilmartin, Saoirse Bellastry and Alicia Hegarty, the FISEC Ireland Team quartet won gold and set a new FISEC Games record of 2:05.68.

A brilliant international experience for Ethan, who gained valuable experience, made new friends and helped FISEC Team Ireland secure Best Overall Team honours.

A battling brave performance by Jack Collins in searing 37° temperatures sees him just miss out on a semi final place by an agonizing 0.15s in the European u18 Championships at Rieti.

It has been an amazing year for Jack with 2 National Championships to his name and now, with his first major international championships under his belt, a lot more to come hopefully!!

Jack, we are all so very proud of you at Tralee Harriers for representing the club and Ireland so brilliantly at these games. It wasn't to be this time but this is only one step up the ladder to further glory in the future!
