In Memory of Conor Ahern

Everyone at Trim Celtic AFC is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Johnstown FC player Conor Ahern.

At times like this, football becomes secondary. Clubs may compete on the pitch, but we are all part of the same football family, and when one club suffers such a heartbreaking loss, it is felt throughout the entire community.

A teammate may leave the pitch, but the memories, friendships and moments shared in the jersey remain forever. Conor’s place among his teammates and within his club will never be forgotten.

Our deepest sympathies go to Conor’s family, friends, teammates, coaches and everyone at Johnstown FC during this incredibly difficult time.

From everyone at Trim Celtic AFC, we stand with the Johnstown FC family in remembering one of their own.

FAI Junior Cup Update...

Two Leinster teams remain in the FAI Junior Cup and both are in action next weekend

Evergreen from Kilkenny make the long journey to Castlebar Celtic on Sunday September 6th for a 1pm kick off in Milebush Park

Trim Celtic host Coachford FC from Cork in the MDL Grounds also on Sunday with kick off at 1pm

We wish both sides the best of luck in their quest to reach the final

Also on Sunday, Ferns United from Wexford travel to Ozier Park in Waterford to take on Wilton United from Cork in the FAI Women's Amateur Shield Final with a 2pm kick off

We also wish them the best of luck as they look to lift their first National trophy.
