Tullamore BMX Race Track and Cycle Training Academy

Hi everyone. Thank you all so much for your support in the past year. We have set up our Cycling Club (http://www.facebook.com/area57racing - Area 57 Racing) which will run the track / facility once built and would appreciate it if you could head over to our page and Like and Share. We are looking for new members and welcome anyone from all cycling disciplines.

Area 57 Racing Area 57 Racing is Ireland's newest Cycling Club presenting riders, providing support and coaching across all cycling disciplines including BMX, CycloCross, MTB, Para, Road and Track at all levels.

We have been working hard over the past few months to keep this project on the move and are happy to announce the foundation of a new cycling club which will use the Track when we get it built this year!

As we get closer to Christmas and things just get too busy for everyone, here's a little update for y'all.
The planned development with the indoor track looks unlikely to proceed as the landlord isn't really interested in the project. BooHoo... :-(
However, the council in Tullamore have come to us with some proposed sites for a Track. We are currently looking at these sites and completing feasibility studies on each site. Yay!!! ;-)
Lastly, we have set up the new club and hope to have affiliation with Cycling Ireland next week. If anyone is interested in becoming a member, get in touch here or via email at [email protected]
