πŸ’™πŸ’› WALKATHON 2026 β€” THAT’S A WRAP! πŸ’›πŸ’™

And just like that… 24 hours, thousands of steps and one incredible effort has come to an end!πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈπŸšΆβ€β™‚οΈ

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who played a part in making our Walkathon such a success. This event simply would not have happened without the support, generosity and commitment of so many people.

πŸ‘ To every single participant β€” thank you for showing up, walking, running, chatting, laughing and keeping the baton moving for the full 24 hours. Your enthusiasm and energy was unbelievable!

πŸ’™ To our sponsors and everyone who donated*β€” thank you for your incredible generosity and for supporting the club. Every contribution, big or small, will make a real difference.

πŸ™Œ To our organising committee β€” thank you for all the work that went on behind the scenes in the weeks and months beforehand, and for keeping everything moving throughout the 24 hours. So much work happens that people never see, and we are incredibly grateful.

And finally, to the entire Portlaw community and beyondβ€” thank you. πŸ’™πŸ’›

This was about so much more than walking for 24 hours. It was about community, togetherness and coming together to support the future of our club.

We should all be incredibly proud of what we have achieved together! Up The VillageπŸ’™πŸ’›

Unfortunately the weather is against us today for our family fun section of the 24 Hour Walkathon from 2pm-4pm.

*Therefore, we will postpone this side of it to another date.*

The Walkathon however continues as normal with participants continuing to walk and run despite the rain overnight and all morning πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Thanks to everyone for your support over the past 20 hours. Only 4 more hours to go πŸ’™πŸ’›πŸ’ͺ🌧️

The Walkathon finishes at 4pm so we invite people to come join us for the last 15 - 30 mins to celebrate and get a group photo. πŸ“Έ
