We were absolutely blown away with the talent today at our Junior and Senior auditions. We can't wait to assemble our cast and start work on this years magical tale of Sleeping Beauty - bigger and more spectacular than ever! Seniors - it's your time!

If you want to be part of this years production of Sleeping Beauty in Theatre Royal Waterford this December - send us your details! This is for anybody aged from 16 - 30 on December 1st.

Again this is an open call, there is no requirement to be a member of any stage school or have any formal training - everybody is very welcome to try out.

It's time! Is it your turn to take your place in our Junior Chorus in the beautiful Theatre Royal Waterford this December? It's July 1st and here in Waterford Panto Society we are busy getting ready for this years production of Sleeping Beauty.

We're throwing our doors open and having an open call for anybody who would like to audition for the lead role of Princess Aurora on the Theatre Royal stage this Christmas Season.

So -

⭐️ If you're aged 17 - 24
⭐️ If you're experienced in Singing, Dancing and Acting
⭐️ If you're available from September to December
⭐️ If you want to have the best craic in a leading role
⭐️ If you want to join our Panto family in a friendly environment

We'd love to hear from you. Auditions will be in July, all information will be given to people who register along with all material required for the audition. These auditions will take place on the stage of Theatre Royal and will include Singing and Dialogue with Panto characters. Come and take your place with us in the middle of Winterval Waterford on the Mall - right in the middle of family fun this Christmas season - we can't wait to hear from you all.

To all our cast, our crew, support team and audience members who are starting out on their exam journey today - huge good wishes to you all.

Our hearts are absolutely broken following the devastating fire on Saturday. We are devastated for our friends Blanaid MacCann & all her staff Nomac Productions who have been a constant, always there to help with our society for the last 40 years. We also are thinking of Jean Upton & Elleanor & all their staff Waterford Centre of Music who have been great supporters of our Society also for the last 40years.

The theatre and musical community in Waterford is more than, stages and shows — it’s family. We know the passion, dedication and years of hard work that go into building something so special, and we can only imagine the heartbreak being felt by all right now.

Please know that the entire Waterford Panto Society family is thinking of you all and standing beside you during this incredibly difficult time. Brighter days will come again, and this wonderful community will rally around you every step of the way ❤️

Many of our members and friends are involved on stage and behind the scenes as well as a huge cohort of Waterford Theatre performers.
