All of us at the club are absolutely heartbroken to hear of the passing of our dear friend Cian O’Mahony. Cian was a gentleman of the highest order, a kind, caring and thoughtful person who was terrific company on our many runs together. He will be sorely missed by everyone at Watergrasshill AC.

Please keep his wife Natalie, his children Mollie and Jack, his family and his friends in your thoughts and in your prayers - we are beyond devastated for them all.

Rest in peace buddy. 🧡🧡🧡

COMPETITION TIME!! With a little over 5 weeks to go to our race and tickets selling FAST, we thought we’d do a give away for TWO FREE ENTRIES, for you and a friend!! All you have to do is share this post to your story, tag your running buddy in it and in the comments below, and that’s it! We’ll draw the winner in a few days time.

🏃‍♀️🌧️ Cork County Cross Country Championships

While most people were looking for shelter from yesterday's miserable weather, Gwen Conroy was out tackling the mud, rain and challenging conditions at the Cork County Cross Country Championships in Lower Coomeraig, Carrigadrohid.

Cross country is never easy, and yesterday's conditions certainly didn't make it any easier, but Gwen took it all in her stride and proudly represented Watergrasshill AC with great determination and resilience.

A huge well done, Gwen! We're incredibly proud of your effort and commitment. 🧡👏
