Another busy summer season coming to a close🥺

With lots of our brilliant staff heading back to school and college, we’ll be running on reduced hours for September.

A huge thank you to all our amazing staff, and also to all the extra helpers who have stepped in and helped us out on those particularly busy days. We really appreciate you all! 🩵

This weekend marks our last weekend of live music for the summer!

We have two great days of music lined up, so come along and enjoy the final weekend of our summer sessions🎵🍻

A massive thank you to all the incredible bands and musicians who have played with us throughout the year, and to everyone who came along, danced, listened and supported the music over the summer. We look forward to welcoming all our performers back again! ❤️

We’re delighted to share that Clare Island Community Centre has received funding from The Heritage Council through the Community Heritage Grant Scheme 2026 to develop a new Clare Island Heritage Audio Guide🎧🚶‍♂️‍➡️

Working with Abarta Heritage, the guide will explore Clare Island’s history, heritage and stories and create a new digital resource for both the local community and visitors to the island.

As part of National Heritage Week, we’re holding a Community Engagement Evening tomorrow, Wednesday 19th August at 7.30pm in Clare Island Community Centre.

We’ll share the proposed points of interest for the guide and invite local knowledge, stories, suggestions and feedback to help shape the project, with Abarta Heritage’s scriptwriter joining us virtually on the evening.

Everyone is very welcome to attend and contribute😊
