The forecast is looking lovely for the rest of the week and right into the Bank Holiday weekend, so now is the perfect time to plan your pony adventure.

We have limited availability from Friday to Sunday, so please book early to avoid missing out.

Think mountain views, sandy beaches, fresh Atlantic air and plenty of pony-powered fun. Whether you are visiting Achill, entertaining the children or simply fancy doing something a little different, this is one experience you will be talking about long after the weekend is over.

Pony Camp is in full swing at Calvey’s, and it’s the perfect adventure for kids, cousins, nieces and nephews who love animals, being outdoors and having a brilliant time.

Some weeks are already full, so please book ahead to avoid any tiny tears of disappointment.

We’ll provide the riding hats and boots, so they’re all set for fun in the saddle.

This is not your average yard job.

We are a busy, family-run trekking centre on the stunning west coast of Ireland, and we are looking for experienced, capable team members to join us for the summer season ☀️

If you love horses, thrive outdoors, and enjoy working with people, you will fit right in.

The Roles: Centre Support Manager, Trek Leaders

What the role involves:
🐎 Leading and assisting with beach and countryside treks
👩‍🏫 Teaching riders of all ages and abilities
⭐ Delivering a safe, professional, and memorable experience for every customer
🤝 Working as part of a close-knit, hardworking team

What we expect from you:
✔️ Proven experience leading treks and/or teaching riding
🐴 Confidence handling horses in a busy environment
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 A genuine love of working with children and the public
❤️ High standards of horse care and welfare
🚶‍♀️ Energy and stamina, this is a physically demanding role, often 25,000 steps a day
💪 A positive, get-on-with-it attitude, be able to muck in and muck out!

The essentials:
