Modernised throughout, the house comprises two reception rooms, four bedrooms (balcony bedroom has a sofa bed), large spacious kitchen plus two bathrooms.
The reception rooms are wooden floored and well furnished. The kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine, granite worktops, electric cooker etc. A spiral staircase leads to the large upstairs study/bedroom with its outside balcony and wide panoramic views of Croagh Patrick. Comfortably sleeps 6 to 8; towels and linen supplied. The picturesque town of Westport is 5 miles away; Knock airport a 50-mi
nute drive. Local amenities include golf, sea/freshwater fishing, sailing and horse-riding. For cyclists, the recently opened Greenway track from Westport to Achill is spectacular. Bookings are on a weekly basis i.e. from Saturday to Saturday. Low Season (1/10 to 31/3) 850 GBP per week; Normal Season (01/4 to 16/5) is 950 GBP per week; High Season (17/5 to 30/9) is 1100 GBP per week. During the High Season, bookings are on a weekly-let basis from Saturday to Saturday. Outside these dates, shorter lettings may be available on a pro rata basis. Check-In and Check out Times: Arrival Time is 2 pm Saturday. Checkout Time is 11am Saturday. Deposit and Cancellation - to reserve a booking, a deposit of 250 GBP is required at the time of booking. This can be done either by cheque or direct bank transfer. The balance of the rental is to be paid one month prior to arrival. In case of cancellation more than 1 month in advance of your booking, the deposit will be forfeited. In case of cancellation one month or less before arrival, the full amount is payable. Rental Fee: the rental fee covers your stay plus all electricity but excludes wood, coal and charcoal. These can be bought locally.
