GLYNNBARNTOWN TENNIS AUTUMN BOX LEAGUE '23 starting 3rd September runs for approximately 3 months (approx 4 matches per month).
Open to all Tennis members and those availing of GAA packages.
€20 entry fee.

Our 14 -16 year old members enjoyed their first tournament last week on Glynn/Barntown Tennis Courts. Well done to Jim Kelly who won an Arc Cinema voucher.

A tournament for members aged 10 - 13 will take place next week.

Glynn/Barntown Tennis Club Doubles Finals took place the last week of June.
Well done to group A winners Tina & Mark and to the runners up Tess & Elaine. Group B winners Jason & Avril and runners up Ann & John Murphy. Group C winners Lucy & Tara and the runners up Sylvia and Aileen.

Well done to all players in our Monday night Tennis and thanks to all who subbed in when needed.
We were very lucky with the weather too considering it was January and February.

The Doubles box league took place over 3 months, September, October, November. Over 40 players took part and the courts were busy Monday to Friday as the teams battled it out to move up each month. Well done to all our winners.
1st place : Elaine Carley and Mark Kelly.
2nd place : Deirdre Wilde and Tomas Kirk.
3rd place : Aisling Ferriter and Rachel Hynes
