Congratulations to Áine!

A Squad member Áine has been selected for the Swim Ireland Leinster Regional Development Programme.

To quote Swim Ireland, “The programme forms part of a national pathway designed to support the development of Irish aquatic talent from regional level through to senior international success.”

Following Katie Prunty, Áine becomes only the second Slaney Shark to be selected for the programme.

The trips to the NAC have started early this season, with Áine taking part in the Andrew Sheaff Swim Clinic with the Development Squad this weekend.

All those early mornings, dedication and hard work are definitely paying off. Exciting times ahead for Áine!

Irish swimming stars Mona McSharry, Ellen Walshe, and Danielle Hill are coming together once again to host a series of swim clinics designed to inspire the next wave of young athletes!

The clinics are open to all club athletes from aged 8-17.
