⭐️AUGUST CALENDAR⭐️
We are back with the August calendar and what another jam packed month we have. We are busy with Club, County and National events. We are lucky to say we wouldn’t have it any other way.

👑QUEEN OF THE CASTLE👑
This Bank Holiday August we are heading to Cahir, Co. Tipperary to support Lucy Mc Carthy.
Lucy is going to be flying the flag for Wexford Macra. Lucy’s club is Kilmuckridge Macra. Wexford Macra will travelling down to support Lucy and cheering her on. We know Lucy is going to have an absolute amazing time and make lots more Macra memories!
Without doubt she’ll make us all proud!!
Our July County Dance we got to welcome Bernie Heaney for the first time to the IFA Centre.
We would like to thank Bernie for keeping us all on our toes for the night. We can’t wait for you to come back to us!
Our next county dance is on Friday 21st August and we will be joined by The Joe Davitt Duo from Ferns. It’ll be the first visit for Joe as well to our county dance.
We can’t wait to see you all next month and remember EVERYONE IS WELCOME!
Last Saturday Clíona the newly elected Chairperson of Wexford Macra got the chance to talk to John Moynihan on his Saturday morning programme.
Clíona spoke to John about all things Macra. Clíona mentioned the five active clubs in the county and what they get up to weekly. When you listen to the interview you can even hear John surprised the dedication all the members have towards Macra.
Make sure you have a listen because if you’re a Macra member you’ll be a very proud member listening to the interview. If you’re not a Macra member yet you will want to be after listening to it! Clíona also talks about the last year after the Rose of Tralee.

Yesterday Clíona & Ciaran travelled to Kenturk, Cork for the National Dairy Stock Finals.
They both put on their concentration faces while judging the dairy stock.
We are delighted to say Ciaran came runner up on the under 23’s and he is bringing back glassware to Wexford Macra! (Also the first go of silverware for Blackstairs Macra and they are not up and and running a year yet) 👏🏻
Clíona & Ciaran were delighted some of the Wexford Macra went to cheer them on also.
Fair play to the two of them keeping the Wexford Macra flag flying.
