Wexford Taekwon-Do is welcoming new beginners to our Murrintown classes from Monday 11 May 2026.

Cubs (ages 4โ€“7) take place on Monday at 5:00 PM, and our Taekwon-Do classes for children, teens and adults take place on Monday and Wednesday at 6:30 PM.

New starters beginning from 11 May can enjoy 2 weeks free.

Taekwon-Do is a great way to build confidence, discipline, fitness and respect in a friendly and supportive environment.

Congratulations to Mr Fiachra Mehigan on receiving his official ITF certificate, ID card and lapel pin following his successful promotion to 1st Degree Black Belt at the ITA Winter Black Belt Grading.

Pictured here with instructor Mr John Barry, this achievement reflects years of dedication, hard work and perseverance on the mats. Earning a black belt is a major milestone in Taekwon-Do, and Fiachra should be extremely proud of all he has accomplished.

Well done, Mr Mehigan โ€” your journey is only just beginning.

๐Ÿฅ‹ A Proud Moment for Wexford Taekwon-Do ๐Ÿฅ‹

Congratulations to Mr John Corish on officially receiving his International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF) certificate and ID card, following his successful promotion to 4th Degree Black Belt at the ITA Winter Black Belt Grading.

The presentation took place at the recent ITA AGM, where Mr Corish was presented with his certification by Master Kenneth Wheatley, marking an important milestone in his Taekwon-Do journey.

Achieving 4th Dan represents decades of dedication, technical excellence, leadership and commitment to the art of Taekwon-Do. This promotion reflects not only Mr Corishโ€™s personal achievement, but also his continued contribution to the development of students and the wider Taekwon-Do community.

Wexford Taekwon-Do is incredibly proud to announce that Kilmore brothers Mr Ronan Winters and Mr Tiernan Winters have been selected to represent Ireland on the Irish National Taekwon-Do Squad for the 2026 AETF European Championships.

Mr Ronan Winters has been selected for Junior Male Power while Mr Tiernan Winters will compete in Pre-Junior Male Sparring +65kg,

๐Ÿฅ‹ A Special Milestone for Wexford Taekwon-Do ๐Ÿฅ‹

A proud moment for Wexford Taekwon-Do as Mr Ger Brennan and Ms Leah Roche Brennan have now officially received their International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF) certificates, ID cards and lapel pins, following their successful promotion to 1st Degree Black Belt at the ITA - Irish Taekwon-Do Association Winter Black Belt Grading.

Achieving Black Belt is a significant milestone in any martial artistโ€™s journey, marking years of dedication, discipline and perseverance. For Ger and Leah, this achievement is made even more special as father and daughter, reaching this landmark together through consistent training and commitment.

Their promotion reflects not only technical skill, but also the values of Taekwon-Do โ€” respect, integrity, resilience and lifelong learning. Both continue to set a wonderful example within the club, inspiring students of all ages.
