Fionn and Tomás were selected on the County Schools Lift and Strike Team who took part in a Leinster Blitz in Carlow's Centre of Excellence in Fenagh. The boys played midfield and full back for the Wexford team playing teams from Carlow, Kilkenny, Laois, and Dublin. They both played well and really enjoyed it. Great experience for them both and nice to see school represented.

Well done to our u10 footballers who played St. Anne’s this evening in Ballymore. A superb display of tenacious defending and working the ball through hands to take their scores. Well done everyone!

Well done to all the boys on another good win last night against a very physical Shamrocks team. The boys played some super hurling against the wind in the first half, scoring 2-7 from play. Well done lads!

The U14 hurlers will take on the Shamrocks tomorrow (Thurs) in the pitch at 7.30pm. Please support

There'll be hurling final action for Our Lady's Island and Shamrocks on Sunday, as they contest the Div. 5 decider of the EEW Ltd. All County Hurling League. We wish both sides the best of luck.

Our Lady’s Island GAA Club wishes to extend our deepest sympathy to Marie, Laura, Andrea, Alison and Susan, extended family and friends, on the sad passing of Denis O’Doherty. Denis was a former player and valued member of our club.

During his playing years, he was a tenacious and talented player. He won a football championship with Lady’s Island club in ‘96.

Denis made Lady’s Island his home nearly 40 years ago but he never forgot his Tipperary roots.

Our flag is at half mast and our club grounds will be closed tomorrow from 11am to 6pm as a mark of respect as we say farewell to our dear friend.

This Sunday at 2pm our adult Hurlers will take on the Shamrocks in the League final in Oylegate.

A big well done to both teams in Adamstown this morning. Some great skills on display from our U7’s and U8’s in some bleak conditions. Great dedication from this group of players
