Here are our final results from this years summer league.
We’ll do the prize giving at next weeks shoot.

As I won’t take a prize from my own shoot I’ll donate it in the form of two free entries for each of our juniors next Tuesday instead of the usual single free one.

What a great evening again.
Some top scores on a not handy course.
Great banter too all evening.
We’ve a couple of new young lads now and we’re getting them ready for next year’s season.

PS I heard someone say they were only in a certain Class !
Bear in mind our D & C classes are equivalent to A & AA in a lot of places 😉

Our busiest shoot yet with every county in the south east nearly spoken for and a few further afield.

I set the targets a bit tougher today but it didn’t deter the shooters from digging in.
I thought a 28 would be the height of it but one man just pipped that.

Thanks to all the people that gave us positive comments on the targets and the grounds it makes the work easier hearing it 💥💥

I hate having to do this type of stuff but It seems I need to set the record straight about our traps.

We use predominantly Bowman traps for several reasons.
One we are the importer for them since 2024
Two we can service them and maintain them without any issues.
Three as I’m sure any of our regular shooters will agree we don’t suffer from no birds or trap malfunctions during shoots.

As like any other club we cannot simply change all our traps in one go as this is just not economical and we don’t have €1000’s sitting in the bank to do so.
We are gradually phasing out all the other brands on site as we take in a few quid.
At the moment we have a total of 5 traps that are not Bowman
One of which hasn’t been used in 3 years I might add.

So getting to the main point of this post !
The Wicklow man telling everyone who’ll listen that Ballyvake sell Bowman but don’t use them well let’s just say you my friend are no longer welcome on our grounds.
You know who you are!!
