That's a wrap on Senior Nationals!9 NAC Dublin, Day 5!
What a way to finish this incredible week:

🏊 Kate — a perfect paced swim in the 400m Freestyle, and an amazing PB!
🏊 Lily — B Final, 100m Backstroke, 14th place, with beautiful flow and a PB!
🏊 Julia — A Final, 50m Breaststroke, 4th place and a PB — so close, but what a swim!
🏊 Sinéad — A Final, 400m Freestyle, 10th place, with a PB in both the heat AND the final!

Every single swimmer finished this championship better than they started it. That says everything about the work, the mindset, and the heart this team brings.
A huge thank you to our coaches, Martin and Murt, for everything you've given this team all week. 💙
Thank you also to our team managers — Claire, Daniella, Mary and Paul — for keeping everything running smoothly on the ground in Dublin. And to the dedicated parents who spend their time shouting from the gallery, you know who you are 👏

And to Ciara and Niamh working away in the background, and everyone else who helped get these swimmers to Dublin over the last few days — this week would not have happened without you.
Congratulations to everyone on such a fantastic week.

🏊‍♀️ Senior Nationals, NAC Dublin!

Last night, Julia took on one of the toughest event on the program — the 400IM — and fought every single length, through every stroke, all the way to the finish. Third place. It was so close.
Another bronze medal at Senior Nationals!
Two medals in one championship. What an incredible week this has been for you, Julia. The whole club is so proud. 💙
Well done! 👏
And now she's into another A final this evening for 50m Breaststroke. We can't cope with the excitement!!

Last night, Julia came third in the 400IM — an incredible fight to the end with all the strokes involved.
A huge congratulations to her! 🥉
And a fabulous swim from Lily too, who made it to an A Final and finished seventh. Wow! 👏

What a morning at the NAC
Lets celebrate some more milestones ✨️
Kate making her 800m swim look easy taking 9th place (15s )
Sinead also pounding through to 5th place in her 800m Freestyle (16s)
Lily chopping through the waves in her 200m backstoke (15s) and .making it to the A finals
and Julia making it to A Finals in a gruelling 400IM with all the strokes.(15s)

Julia pushed so hard in the 200m Breaststroke 15s tonight and it paid off — third place and a bronze medal at Senior National Championships.

What a swim, what a result.

What a morning we've had at Senior National Championships, NAC Dublin! DAY 3

All four of our girls — Aisling, Julia, Kate and Lily — were out in force this morning, and not one of them disappointed.
Kate delivered an amazing swim with a fabulous start.
Aisling fought hard and has booked her place in tonight's B Final in the 100m Freestyle.
Lily produced an absolute sprint of a swim and also made tonight's B Final.
And Julia swam her heart out, finishing 3rd in her heat to secure her spot in tonight's A Final!
It's nail-biting stuff. 🔥

Let's cheer these girls on tonight — every one of them has earned this moment. GO WEXFORD! 💙🏊‍♂️

Day 3 at Senior Nationals, NAC Dublin! 🔥🏊‍♀️

Some brilliant swimming from Wexford Swimming Club yesterday — if we do say sonoirselves !!
Our club is absolutely flying it.

YESTERDAY'S RESULTS
🏊 Lily — fantastic swim in the 50m Freestyle
🏊 Aisling — beautiful 50m Freestyle (PB!) and 100m Fly
🏊 Kristian — speedy 50m Freestyle
🏊 Sinéad — strong and consistent 1500m Freestyle, PB, 5th
🏊 Kate — fought with speed for her place in 1500m Freestyle, PB, and coming 4th

And a proud moment of the day — Julia qualified for the 200m IM final, then went out that evening and swam a personal best to finish 4th overall! 🎉
What an incredible swim under pressure. So proud of you, Julia.
