🏊‍♀️ Leinster Youth & Senior Championships 2026 🏊‍♂️

Swimmers from Wexford Swimming & Water Polo Club proudly represented the club at the Leinster Youth & Senior Championships, held from May 22nd–24th.

Qualifying for this level of competition is a fantastic achievement in itself, and all of our swimmers showed great commitment, determination, and team spirit throughout the weekend.

Our team of seven swimmers, Sinéad, Ben, Aisling, Julia, Lily, Sofia, and Killian, delivered an outstanding performance:

A special congratulations to Ben and Killian on attending their first Leinster Long Course Championships, and to Sofia on competing at her second Leinster LC Championships and returning with an additional event on her programme.

As we come close to the end of another fantastic season, everyone at Wexford Swimming & Water Polo Club has so much to be proud of.
We are incredibly proud of the growth of our club, of our swimmers and water polo players, of their performances, dedication, and the way they continue to grow with us, not only into impressive athletes, but also into great young people.

This season has brought so many achievements, unforgettable moments, and memories that remind us why being part of this club is so special.
As we begin preparing for the season ahead, we are excited to announce that from September we will be opening trials for both our Swimming and Water Polo Teams.

What a fantastic Round Robin gala we had on the 16th of May! 🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️

We had 19 swimmers competing and an incredible 38 PBs achieved on the day ... an amazing effort from everyone involved! 🎉👏

A huge thank you to all our swimmers, coaches, volunteers, and supporters for making the event such a success.

A special thank you to the team at The Waterfront Pool & Leisure Centre for welcoming us so warmly and hosting the event due to maintenance works at the Wexford pool.

After months of hard work and dedication, our swimmers delivered another great competition performance, showing just how much the team continues to grow and improve. Across the weekend, our swimmers achieved an incredible 25 Personal Bests 👏👏👏

A great weekend for our team at the Future Challengers Gala at NAC last Sunday! 🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️

Our swimmers achieved an impressive 18 Personal Bests from 21 swims ..... an excellent effort by everyone 👏👏👏

What an incredible week it has been! After 5 days of hard work, fun, and unforgettable memories in Oundle, our swimmers are back.... and we couldn’t be prouder.

It was a fantastic opportunity to build confidence, strengthen friendships, and grow together as a team.

We were also incredibly fortunate to have such an amazing location, with an excellent pool and top-class training facilities that made the whole experience even more special.

A massive thank you to everyone who made this camp possible ... our dedicated coaches, supportive parents, and all those behind the scenes who helped along the way. Your support means everything.

And a special thank you to Oundle School for their kind support and hospitality throughout the week.
