It's been a moment...

It's very hard to find the words to say exactly just how proud we are of our wonderful SG community, and we use that word, community, because everyone in the National Opera House last Saturday night, whether it was student, teacher, our backstage team of wonderful volunteers, tech, parents, family, friends or fan.......lifted our dancers with support and praise and enjoyed the show with each other and shared cheers, tears and laughter and celebrated our love of dance and family.
For the first time ever, we let our students dance it out with our audience before closing the curtain on another year and it was wonderful to watch an un-rehearsed shared joy of dance and celebration.
Our wonderful students displayed pure talent and dedication on that stage with hours and hours of rehearsals behind them, no one could deny just how incredible the wonderful students of SG were, they put on a show to remember and there wasn't a dry eye in the house as everyone sat with admiration and pride💜 well done to each and every one of our students and team and thank you to all 🫶

Millie Connick
Millie has been a family member and crew member 13 years. She has represented SG at many competitions, showcases and been an important part of SG in some of the biggest and most memorable moments of the last 10 years.Millie is also a graduate this year and needless to say she will be dearly missed but will be leaving behind a legacy of memories and moments that we will never forget💜

We also said a sad but proud farewell to our 7 graduates this year, one in particular has been with us for the longest time of 15 years !
We wish them all the very best as they move on to their next big adventure and remind them that they will always have a home with us whenever they need us.

We would like to wish you all an absolutely incredible summer break and we can't wait to welcome you back for YEAR 20 🌟💜🤩 we have lots of lovely things planned for you all to celebrate our milestone year!
