Great wins today for All Ireland Fourball team vs Old Conna (4.5-0.5) and the Mixed Foursomes team vs Rathfarnham (3 wins, 2 called in). Well done managers Chris Foxton, Neill Love, Peter and Annette Deignan and all players.

It would appear there is a frost delay in Powerscourt this morning.

Whichever deity is in charge of weather is clearly deeply upset with Captains Declan and Suzanne. Both courses closed today due to snow, and Captains’ drive-in is postponed again. Commiserations to our fearless leaders, hopefully third time lucky!

Unfortunately a set of brave Darcy team performances weren’t quite enough today, as Old Conna took a 3-2 victory. But lots of good signs as this panel prepares for the Barton Shield and Senior Cup.
