The Has Beens, Wicklow golfers on tour

Great day out on a beautifully kept golf course, tees, fairways and greens in marvellous condition, and credit to the members who give their time to keep it so well. A good test of golf on this 10 hole course, basically 9 hole, with different tees on the second circuit, with a quirky par three 13th at right angles to the 4th. Great value at at €15 for Seniors opens or € 20 for other open competitions, lovely welcome always, and a good friendy atmosphere in the clubhouse.

A lovely day out yesterday on a beautifully presented golf course in pristine condition for the Open Seniors competition. Friendly welcome from Paul in the pro shop, and from the bar and catering staff. Always a pleasure to play this familiar course.

An enjoyable day out yesterday playing links golf for the first time this year, friendly welcome as always in the clubhouse before our game, a good test of golf with a sting in the tail, the last 4 holes are a real challenge.

Another wonderful day out, beautiful scenery, and a well kept old links course with some challenges and undulating greens. Good welcome on arrival by the club professional.
