Simple nutrition, flexible training and a structure that works around your shifts.

Getting lean doesn’t need to be complicated. You don’t have to spend your entire life in the gym, eat boring food or sacrifice everything outside of work to build a physique you’re proud of.

Especially when you’re already giving so much of yourself to your job.

Long shifts. Early starts. Sleepless nights. Constant demands, both physically and mentally.

By the time you finish work, sometimes the last thing you want to think about is training or preparing another meal.

I get it. I’ve been there.

Having spent years working as a Garda, I know how easily your own health and fitness can end up taking a back seat to the job.

But it doesn’t have to stay that way.

I’m now preparing to step on a bodybuilding stage, and one thing I’ve learned is that you don’t need perfect circumstances to make serious progress.

Life I understand that fits YOUR circumstances.

Meals that keep you fuelled throughout your shift.

Training that works around your roster.

Recovery that allows you to perform both inside and outside the gym.

And most importantly, a plan you can actually stick to.

Because your job should never mean sacrificing the way you look, feel or perform.

Want to start getting lean without turning your entire life upside down?

DM me “COACH” if you’re ready to take things further with personalised coaching.

Feeling constantly exhausted shouldn’t be something you just accept because of the job you do.

But unfortunately, for so many Gardaí, emergency service workers and busy professionals, it’s become part of everyday life.

Running on empty doesn’t have to be your normal.

And sometimes, it’s not that you’re lacking discipline or motivation. It’s that your current routine simply isn’t supporting the demands being placed on you.

Long shifts, disrupted sleep, poor nutrition and very little time to yourself can make it incredibly difficult to feel like you’re in control of your own health and fitness.

I’ve spoken to so many people working demanding jobs who just want to feel like themselves again. To have more energy, feel better physically and actually enjoy their time away from work.

Because your days off should be about living your life, not just recovering enough to survive another shift.

Hopefully, this carousel gives you a few things to think about and some practical changes you can start making. ❤️

And if you’re ready for some support getting your energy, fitness and routine back on track, comment ENERGY below and I’ll send you a breakdown of how my 1:1 coaching at PROJECT PROFESSIONAL works. 👌🏼

3 WEEKS 3 DAYS OUT UPDATE Warren Dyson Physical Culture Association 💥

3 Weeks and 3 days until we step on stage! 🥜

Another interesting week of prep...

The hard work we’ve put in is really starting to pay off, and we’re now in a position where baseline food is being INCREASED AGAIN while condition continues to improve. 📈

This morning we checked in at…

76.9KG 📉

Running a little flat this morning, which means it’s time to get some food into me! 😂

NEW BASELINE FOOD:

Training Day:
253P / 502C / 45F
3425 KCAL

Non-Training Day:
250P / 360C / 50F
2890 KCAL

today we’re kicking off the first of two planned back-to-back HIGH DAYS across two training days.

650G OF CARBS TODAY! 🍚🔥

Potentially even a THIRD high day on Saturday’s rest day, depending on how the body responds.

After weeks of digging, it’s an incredible feeling to be increasing food to bring back fullness and freshness while STILL having high days in the plan.

Food up.
Weight down.
Condition improving.
High days going in.
We keep working. ⛏️❤️

Every week is revealing more detail, more separation and a clearer picture.

I’ll still look in the mirror and immediately find something to pick at 😂 But that’s bodybuilding.

Credit to Darragh Mac Namara | Online Coach 🇮🇪 🤝❤️

Knowing when to push, when to increase food and when to let the body respond.

I’m not only learning how to become a better bodybuilder, but a better coach through watching how he assesses, communicates and makes decisions.

There’s so much more to this sport than simply eating less and doing more cardio, and this prep has taught me that.

And as always, Kahlia ✨ for putting up with the endless posing, food conversations and occasional prep brain 😂❤️

Grateful to every client who works with me while I lead from the front. Everything I’m learning throughout this process is helping me become better and help you achieve. 🙌🏻

Does this sound familiar?

Go to work.

Give the job everything you’ve got.

The chaos. The stress. The constant callouts.

Push through another shift.

Get home absolutely drained.

Spend your days off trying to recover just enough to do it all over again.

Wake up. Work. Recover. Repeat.

And somewhere in that cycle, you slowly start losing parts of yourself.

Less energy.
Less patience.
Less motivation.
Less present in the moments that actually matter.

Without even realising it, the job has become the centre of everything.

Your sleep. Your training. Your relationships. Your entire routine.

Your whole life starts revolving around the next shift.

But here’s something worth thinking about…

Your days off shouldn’t exist just to help you recover enough to go back to work.

You deserve to feel good in yourself.

You deserve the energy to train, enjoy your hobbies and actually live a life outside of policing.

You deserve to be present with the people who matter most.

And your family?

They deserve the best version of you.

Not the exhausted, burnt-out version who’s got nothing left to give after another demanding week.

You can be proud of the job you do without allowing it to consume every part of who you are.

Because policing is what you do.

It shouldn’t become everything you are.

Leaving An Garda Síochána at 27 and finding a new direction in life has given me plenty of reasons to reflect.

At 30, I certainly don’t have everything figured out, but my time in policing, the decision to walk away from it and the journey of building PROJECT PROFESSIONAL have taught me some valuable lessons.

Some through great experiences, others through mistakes, difficult decisions and moments where I’ve questioned myself.

One thing I’ve come to realise is that life can change very quickly, and it’s easy to get so caught up in your career, responsibilities and everyday routine that you forget to look after yourself along the way.

I wouldn’t change my past, because every experience has played a part in shaping the person I am today.

But if I could go back and give my younger self some advice, these are a few things I’d want him to understand sooner.

Making mistakes is inevitable. What matters is recognising them, taking responsibility and using those experiences to become better moving forward.

I hope this helps you today drop a comment below ⬇️ if you can relate
