A massive well done to all of our students who had their belt and award ceremony last night. You have all worked so hard this term, which you all showed at the Grading last Saturday.

We are beyond proud of everyone who achieved their belts last night, from orange right up to black, every one of you worked so hard to EARN these belts.

A special mention to all our students who won extra awards last night for their exceptional work throughout the term. A massive well done to Luke Whelan and Sam Doyle who both achieved a Coaches Award last night, both boys have been an inspiration, putting in all the work and then more. Well done boys👏

A huge massive congratulations and well done to the one and only Ciarán O’Connor who achieved his JUNIOR BLACK BELT last night👏 Ciarán, you have earned this belt through your hard work and determination. Training multiple times a week is not easy, however, you have shown up to every class this term. You didn’t just earn this belt— you deserve it. Well done, Ciarán👏

ATTENTION ALL PARENTS!
Our biannual belt grading will be taking place on Saturday December 13th. Each student will have their chance to participate in the grading to earn their next belt, this is an huge opportunity for each child to show what they have accomplished this term. It is an additional €25 cash for the grading.

All cub students will be from 10am-11:15.
All junior students will be 11:20-12:50.
All adult students will be 1pm-3pm.
Please ensure you confirm your child’s spot, with the belt they currently have.

Alongside the grading, there will be a belt and award ceremony on December 18th. As always, the cub class and Junior class will come together as one for the ceremony at 5:30-7:00. The ceremony will start at 6:15pm, while they get a chance to play games for the first part of class as a well done.

What a day we had yesterday… our very first kids fight show, 18 fights on the card and over 30 kids fighting. Every child and teen who stepped into the ring held the upmost respect for their opponents and fought their hearts out.

We are so proud of our own kids, we had a mixed bag of results but I would argue it was all of their best fights and each and every one of them gave it everything they had.

A huge thank you to all of the clubs and coaches that came down and PT's Fitness / Kickboxing. Your kids were absolute warriors, disciplined, respectful, talented. It was a pleasure to host every single one of them.

The future of this sport is bright. We look forward to seeing you all again.

Thank you to all the parents and members of the gym who volunteered their own time to help us with yesterday. It couldn’t have been done without you all.

Big day for all our junior fighters tomorrow. Tomorrow we have 4 fighters having their first fights and they will all be fighting for the first time at home.

They have put massive amounts of work in and they are ready to take some wins tomorrow🔥

This will be a k1 contest between two boys from two well-respected gyms. They are more ready than ever to get into the ring and fight after their long camps. Both boys travelling down, both want to see their hand get raised.

Tiffany Van Strien (Black Dragon Galway) V Daisy Gray (Global Kickboxing)

Neither girl is a stranger to fighting, and both are looking to get their hands raised. Coming from two highly regarded gyms, we have no doubt these girls won’t give it everything!

All these boys want to do is fight. Ciaran is stepping up to take two fights in the same day against two well rounded fighters and gyms. I have no doubt that the both of these fights will be nothing less than exciting. All three boys looking to get their hands raised.

Next up on our card: Max Luby (Kickfit Kickboxing) V Danieli (Naas Kickboxing).

These two boys have met before in an exhibition fight earlier this year. Now they get back in the ring with each other for three rounds to see who comes out on top. After watching their exhibition, I have no doubt that the two of these boys won’t pull out everything to get the win🥇
