Still smiling thinking about the weekend. 🏕️⛰️
So many moments keep popping into our heads today, reminding us what an absolutely epic Wild Camp adventure we had.
From the laughs and the rain to the views, camp chats, and stepping outside comfort zones together. These are the weekends that stay with us. 💚

Big NEWS! 📢
HUGE NEWS!!!
We are so excited to present Ireland only ALL WOMEN’S Trail Ultra.
Happening in April 2027, the Ultra Trail na mBan 56km and 24km routes take in some of Irelands most iconic trails.
Registration now open through .ie and space is limited.
➡️Toilets on route with period products available
➡️No cut off times
➡️Hikers welcome
➡️Hiking/Running poles allowed
➡️Proceeds will be split between Trail Criú and a Women’s charity (to be confirmed).

Hot weather can mean changing plans. Whether that's running earlier, slowing the pace, shortening your run or taking a rest day altogether. ☀️
Listen to your body, stay hydrated and remember: consistency beats pushing through in extreme heat. Recovery is training too. 💛

If you're new to trail running, here are a few things that might make those first kms a little easier. ⛰️
👣 You don't need to run every hill. Even experienced trail runners hike.
⏱️ Trail pace can be much slower than road pace. Forget the watch and run by effort.
👟 The right shoes make a huge difference. Grip matters most on the trails.
➡️ Walking is not failing. Moving forward is what counts.
🌟 Experience builds confidence over time. You don't have to feel ready before you begin.
Trail running isn't about being the fastest, it's about exploring, challenging yourself and enjoying the journey 🌿

⏰ 8.30am–11.30am*
*Please allow up to 4 hours for each morning, depending on group pace and conditions.
4 x guided trail run/hikes with Mountain Leader with REC 3 First Aid training.
Like all She Summits events, these guided run/hikes will be relaxed and supportive. We will jog, hike and pause throughout. Previous trail running or hiking experience recommended and ability to run 8k continuously on the flat.
