There’s something lovely about slowing down and enjoying the trails together at a relaxed pace, plenty of chats, quiet moments and time to take in our surroundings. 🌿

Next Thursday is our last walk before the Halloween break, and we’d love you to join us.

There’s something about the change of season that makes you look back. 💭

Autumn has a nostalgic quality to it ✨️ summer growth still full, the most incredible cloud formations, sunlight filtering through the trees and those big open mountain landscapes before the winter rain arrives.

Over the past 7 years, we’ve explored so many of the Dublin and Wicklow mountain trails together.

Different seasons, different weather, different people, but so many moments that stay with you.

Some places become special because of how often you return.

And some days are especially beautiful. 🍂⛰️

Thanks so much to Sinéad Kelleher for her courage in speaking out and highlighting the experiences of women in trail running.

Women deserve to feel safe outdoors. The problem isn’t women’s behaviour or the precautions we take. It’s the men who harass, intimidate and make women feel unsafe. That’s where the focus needs to be.

🍂 Autumn Trails ⛰️ Wicklow Gap

This morning we explored the Wicklow Gap area of St. Kevin’s Way on our guided Autumn Trails, with a little detour to Lough Nahanagan.

Gorgeous cloud formations, bellows of rutting stags, an ominous looking lake, a raging river and if you looked closely, a sliver of sea on the horizon between the mountains. 🌊⛰️

One of those Wicklow mornings where the landscape takes your breath away.

Midweek Mountain Trails 💚⛰️

We love Wednesday mornings. 💗

Started out in the rain, but the clouds cleared. 🌤 We were treated to sunshine and expansive mountain views sweeping down to Dublin from Seahan Forest trails.

Next week: A route on the northern section of the Wicklow Way. 🌿
