Our u10 were on the road again this evening against St Kevin's in the Wicklow League.
The lads put in a great performance and it was brillant to see some new talent coming through. Thanks to Valleymount for hosting, parents for travelling and Lindsay for keeping us all organised.

Barndarrig managed to eke out a one-point victory, 1-13 to 0-15, after a dramatic finish in Baltinglass that saw us surge late but run out of time in this Group 1 Round 3 clash.

Our lads started brightly through Tom Doyle, but Barndarrig’s early goal swung the momentum and helped them open a 1-3 to 0-2 advantage. Eoin Miley’s quickfire 2 in a row and further points from Doyle, Cian O Sullivan and Cian Deering kept Dunlavin in touch, yet Barndarrig turned around three clear at the break, 1-6 to 0-6.

Barndarrig tightened their grip after the restart, stretching the margin to six at 1-12 to 0-9 entering the closing stages. This sparked a superb Dunlavin response: Jack Reid led the charge with four second-half including a super 2 pointer, while Doyle added again and Cian O Sullivan clipped a pressure free.
Eoin Murtagh cut it to one with a fi**ed point over the bar before substitute Mossy Lawler split the posts with the final kick of the game to leave the narrowest of gaps at full time, 1-13 to 0-15.

Dunlavin’s bench made an impact—Lawler scoring off the bench and fresh legs from Sean O Sullivan, Paul Murtagh and Luke Bagnell helping fuel the late push—but Barndarrig’s first-half goal ultimately proved the difference.

Our u10s were out this evening in the Kildare leauge against a very good St Laurances team, it was a very close game with some great skills on display from both teams.
Thanks to Izzy for reffing and to St Laurances for making the trip across the border.

Round 3 of championship for our Intermediate team this Sunday.

We take on Barndarrig at 1pm in Baltinglass Gaa.

The lads & management will be hoping to make it 3 out of 3 to leave us top of the group.
