📉70lbs down. 7 months. And the win that actually matters isn't the number.
💕This lovely lady came to us managing a shoulder injury, rebuilding her relationship with the gym, and eating patterns were very erratic.
🍎First forward 7 months, she hasn't dipped below 2500kcals — no restriction, no "good foods vs bad foods," just consistent daily habits.
70lbs is the headline. But here's what she told us after a recent setback:
"I talked with myself, and got myself back where I should be. I'm slightly proud though, as previously what would have happened around my eating and avoiding would have went on longer — potentially months — but I'm definitely learning here and I'm able to adjust or be more agile."
Read that again.
🚫Old S: a setback spirals into avoidance for months.
✅️New S: a setback lasts days, gets named, gets corrected.
That's not willpower. That's a skill.
And it's the actual outcome we're building for — not the scale, not the shoulder rehab, not the calories.
🤝The ability to catch yourself, talk yourself through it, and get back to "being an adult" around food (her words!)
No restriction. No 12-week fix. No all or nothing.
Just behaviour change that sticks long after the plan ends.

Recalibrated Bodies
Tailored nutrition and training programs for fat loss, health, fitness, muscle and performance 🏋♂️
❤️🩹August was the hardest month I've had in a while — I lost someone very close to me, and it gave me a perspective I wish I didn't have to learn the hard way.
Loss has a way of stripping everything back.
🫶Suddenly the small stuff doesn't matter, and the real stuff is impossible to ignore — who you surround yourself with, how you speak to yourself, the habits you repeat, the promises you keep to yourself.
Life is short. Shorter than we let ourselves believe.
And when you're reminded of that, you stop settling.
💕You start asking — am I actually leveling up? In my health, my relationships, my mindset, my standards for myself?
So September's my reset.
Structured, slower but deliberate.
Let's see what that builds.

🦸♀️4 years. 9 rounds of IVF. 4 losses. A cancer diagnosis at 16 weeks pregnant. An early c-section. 8 rounds of chemo. 2 surgeries. Cellulitis. 15 sessions of radiotherapy. 2 beautiful little girls.
💁♀️And in the middle of all of that, Edel decided to work on her health and her confidence.
The goal was simple: reduce body fat, build muscle.
💡But here's why that goal mattered more than most people realise.
Body fat isn't just "extra weight" — it's hormonally active tissue, and lowering it improves inflammation.
Muscle loss, on the other hand, is common during cancer treatment and is linked to tougher outcomes, including poorer treatment tolerance.
❤️So when Edel's care team saw how we were managing her nutrition and training, they weren't just supportive — they were genuinely pleased.
📚And the research backs why: ASCO (the American Society of Clinical Oncology) strongly recommends resistance training for patients in active cancer treatment, including radiotherapy. It reduces fatigue, preserves strength and function, improves quality of life, and reduces anxiety and depression.
We weren't just doing typical postpartum recovery work — pelvic floor, core.
We were building her up strong, post-chemo and pre-radiation.
🚫None of this happened by being "all in" every single day.
We built floor and ceiling habits for the days fatigue hit harder, and pushed when she had the capacity.
That flexibility is what made consistency possible.
🚀The result: 20lbs down, 14cm off her waist, 15cm off her hips, 13% body fat gone, and 7kg of lean muscle gained.
But the real win isn't the numbers. It's that she did this while fighting for her health, and came out the other side stronger — in every sense.
💖I am so grateful for this job — for connecting me with absolute heroes like Edel.
If she can carve out time for herself through all of that, what's your excuse?

Morocco 🇲🇦
The people
The beaches
The food
The endless activities
The ocean
The waves
The desert
The dunes
The contrast of both
Couldn't have came at a better time ❤️🩹

📆4 months left in 2026.
That's enough time to actually change how you feel in your body.
Here's exactly what I'd focus on 👇
1️⃣ Stop starting Monday
The people who finish the year strong start today — mid-week, mid-imperfect-life, right where they are.
Waiting for the "right time" is usually just avoidance in disguise. If you're not ready to start, that's ok too. Change can be scary!
2️⃣Set a moderate deficit — 300–500 calories under maintenance. Larger deficits increase muscle loss and and are far harder to sustain long enough to matter. Moderate wins because you can actually stay in it.
3️⃣Prioritise protein — 2g per kg bodyweight. Research consistently shows higher protein intakes preserve lean mass in a deficit and improve appetite, meaning less muscle lost and less white-knuckling hunger.
4️⃣Strength train 2–3x a week. This is what determines whether weight loss is fat loss or muscle loss. Resistance training is the single biggest lever for body composition, not the scale number.
5️⃣Instead of adding more, improve what you're already doing. You're sleeping as it is so improve that quality/quantity. This will have a HUGE impact on results. You're already moving in some capacity so aim for 8000k steps a day.
😅None of this is new. It's just rarely applied consistently enough to work.
🤝Decide what a 'strong' finish actually means to you: Vague goals get abandoned by week 3.

Eighteen months ago, I stood in Morocco so far down my own priority list I didn't recognise myself.
🚫Not because of my body. Because of everything I'd stopped doing for me, & everything I was doing for everyone else!
🤝So I made a choice — more team, better delegation, a coach, fewer yeses to everything that wasn't mine to carry.
📆By November, the foundations were solid enough to ask a different question: not "how do I get through the week," but "what do I actually want to look and feel like."
Swipe to see what happened next. 👉
💞If you're still down your own priority list right now, this is your sign.

🙋♀️Friendly reminder: none of us have it together.
🤝Nobody's life is the highlight reel you see on here. Nobody's.
Trying to be perfect kept me stuck for years. Chasing some imaginary "ideal" version of consistency that doesn't actually exist.
And here's the irony. Becoming a mother of two should have made consistency harder. Instead, it's when I finally nailed it.
Here's why.
🏆First, I changed what counted as a win. A 15-minute workout used to feel pointless. Now it's a win. Full stop.
🏆Second, survival mode forced me to systemise. Meal prep isn't optional anymore — it's not just for me, it's what feeds my kids when they walk through the door starving.
🏆Workouts happen in the gaps I've got. Not when I "feel like it." Because that moment never comes. You know exactly what I mean.
🤝If you're a busy mum trying to lose weight and get healthy — you can do this.
You don't need to overhaul your whole life. You don't need to give up everything you enjoy.
✅️You just need a different definition of what counts.

🔥How we helped Nicola lose 50lbs (and actually keep it off).
Nicola didn't need another meal plan.
She'd done the yo-yo dieting. The restriction. The "get back on track Monday" cycle.
What she needed was a coach who could:
✅️Simplify the chaos of three kids, sick days, and zero sleep
✅️Build a plan around HER life, not the other way round
✅️Help her train through pregnancy illness and come back stronger
✅️Navigate BBQs, holidays, and weekends without guilt or restriction
✅️Spot the patterns she couldn't see herself, before they became a spiral
🚫There was no magic pill.
Just real coaching. Real accountability. Real problem-solving, week after week.
50lbs down. Over 30% body fat lost. Fittest she's ever been.
And she is still maintaining. Still thriving.
Because sustainable results were never about willpower.
🤝They were about having someone in your corner who knows how to lead you through the hard days, not just the easy ones.
