Motivation won’t get you to your goal. It fades. Especially when things get tough - you can’t rely on motivation.
You have to BUILD discipline. You have to train your brain to do the hard thing, you have to stick to the plan.
If you put in the effort, it creates a habit, the discipline to follow through. Because the alternative is giving up & probably never reaching your goal.
It’s not that you are not capable. You think people who achieve their goals are full of motivation to do these hard things & you’re not built that way. That’s not true. The only difference between achieving it & giving up is the daily effort you’re willing to make. The 1% every day to be better, to create the discipline to keep going.

This ladies only class is a full body workout, focusing on weekly weight training. Learning compound lifts, how to use barbells, dumbbells & equipment correctly & safely.
The conditioning part of the class is good fun, Hyrox & Tryka movements - suitable for complete beginners.

I’ve had lots of questions recently about how to fuel efficiently for running. I have ran marathons, countless 5ks, 10ks & a few half marathons too!
I’m currently training for the NYC half marathon in March, so here’s a break down of what I eat for my tempo runs, with a focus on carbs.

Jess & Caoimhe have massively increased their strength, fitness & put a serious amount of training in over the last 12 months.
Caoimhe started training with me a year ago. She had never set foot into a gym before, she didn’t know how to follow a workout program or use any equipment. Roll on 12 months & here she is running weekly 5kms and training for her first fitness competition! 🥹
She has improved her physical & mental health, but most of all, she’s an inspiration to her two daughters, proving to them that if you put your mind to something - you can achieve it!
Jess started training with me over 6 months ago. Her initial goal was weight loss & to get fit again. After a few sessions together she began to really see how strong she is. She has put a solid graft in, started to believe in herself again & signed up to her first fitness competition with Caoimhe. She started to love running & after completing her first 15k she’s signed up to run the NYC half marathon this March!
Setting a goal gives you the motivation to keep going & challenge yourself. Every small goal you achieve makes you believe in yourself even more.
Having a training partner with a shared goal keeps you accountable & on track. These ladies have smashed every goal they have set themselves. I’ve been their coach, their support, their weekly confidant. Pushing them to see their true potential.
I couldn’t be more proud of them. I have no doubt, they will absolutely smash .fit doubles at the end of this month!
