⚽ Aidan was in flying form, finding the back of the net twice to grab himself a well-deserved brace, while Haneef and Harvey also got on the scoresheet to complete an impressive four-goal victory.

🧤🌟 MAN OF THE MATCH – LIAM GRIFFIN 🌟🧤

A special mention must go to goalkeeper Liam Griffin, who produced an outstanding performance between the posts. Liam pulled off some fantastic saves when called upon, ensuring Castlelack couldn't find a way through and helping his team secure a well-earned clean sheet.

🇮🇪⚽ A NIGHT TO REMEMBER FOR OUR U14 GIRLS! ⚽🇮🇪

Some of our Youghal United U14 girls enjoyed a fantastic night in Cork last night, cheering on the Republic of Ireland Women's National Team against Kazakhstan! 💚🤍🧡

The girls had a brilliant time soaking up the atmosphere, supporting the Girls in Green and watching some of their footballing heroes in action! ⚽👏

It's nights like these that inspire the next generation of female footballers and show our young players what they can aspire to achieve! 🌟

We hope the girls enjoyed every minute of the experience and came home with plenty of great memories! 💙❤️

The future is bright for girls' football! 🇮🇪⚽

U12 CSL Division 1

Youghal Utd 2-1 Carrigaline A

Sponsored by Conquer HQ Fitness

A fantastic result for our U12s today as the lads secured a hard fought 2–1 victory over Carrigaline! 👏

Youghal made a great start, taking a 2–0 lead with two quick goals. Frank Smolarek opened the scoring with a great finish following an excellent passing move, before Harry Ryan doubled our advantage.

The lads created further opportunities throughout the game and were unlucky not to add to the scoreline. Carrigaline pulled one back with a well struck free kick, setting up a tense finish, but the boys showed great determination and resilience to see out the victory. 💪

YOUGHAL U15s TRIUMPH IN A 10-GOAL THRILLER!

BUTTEVANT 3 - 7 YOUGHAL UTD
U15 FOUNDERS CUP
TEAM SPONSOR: RYAN'S MOTORS

After bowing out of the National Cup earlier in the month to Carrigaline, our U15s were looking to respond positively, and they did just that away to Buttevant in the Founders Cup on Saturday morning.

To say this was a game of 2 halves would be an understatement! We struggled in the early exchanges to contain Buttevant's excellent striker and conceded 2 early goals. Despite some excellent possession play by Daniel, Callum hitting the crossbar and Ryan and Cian having shots saved off the line, we found ourselves another goal down by half time.

Going into the 2nd half 3-0 down was always going to be an uphill struggle, but the Youghal boys refused to accept defeat. A few positional changes saw Cooper and Randy lead the line in a front two, and they terrorised the Buttevant defence. Randy opened his account for the season with a stunning hat trick, and Callum contributed with a hat trick of his own. Buttevant fought hard but they couldn't break down our keeper Rob and our back 4 of Ger, Donnacha, Wojtek and captain Cathal, who kept their standards high until the final whistle. In the attacking third they had no answer for our relentless pressure and quick through balls from Zak, Callum and David. Sam scored our last of the day, a brilliant finish to an excellent piece of play, seeing us 7-3 winners.

To come from 3-0 down away from home and score seven goals in a half of football is a major achievement, and one the entire squad can be very proud of. Very well done boys and we march onto the next round
